Out of all the premium tanks i own, this is the worse by far, i was dissappointed at the lack of speed, which is none tbh. The gun is average as is the armour. But the lack of any speed just kills this tank.

Shame, as it looks great......if only looks could kill eh!?!?

Great credit earning potential, 178 mm in the upper glacis, excellent position in the match maker... what more could you ask for from this tank?

One word: mobility...

I like the red tracks in physics test though

Out of 61 battles with my Superpershing, I won 42 (that's a 69%) with average 973 experience and ~70k credits per battle. Regardless of anyone is saying, I think it's an awesome and efficent money-making tank.

Every tank is a good tank if you learn to use it. I asked my friends who bought this beast about it's performance and almost everyone loves it. Before I've got my KV-5, I saw many posts about how bat it is and it turned out to be a very nice and decent tank. I think this is the case with the Super Pershing too. Remember, this tank is for money farming and not for owning the battlefield.

"After all, the potential to deal an average shot of 240 damage with a penetration of 170 mm is just more than you need when engaging your enemies"

Oh yeah, sure, average 170mm PEN rate is just "enough" you can`t penetrate most armors from medium range with KV-5, which has a bit more penetration, and still PEN rate of 170mm average should just about to cover it? SERIOUSLY?! and damage of 240, well, it is pathetic, but for a medium, well, ok it is a bit lower, than needed. if you would have added more penetration it would be a nice addition and a bit more speed wouldn`t hurt too. would it?

Lowe and T34 are earning better credits for me than superpershing, apart from what everyone said speed, penetration etc. the armor is in my opinion biggest "lie", 200 pen and mediocre player will rape its front like its cheese and about types I had this situation:

I encounter 2 typ59s in open, distance around 100m, so I decide to just stay and see how they can menage with SP front, first few shots bounced or were absorbed by armor but after that they started pen to reliably with damage, got holes both in upper front hull and all over the turret, of course I damaged one of those types but MOST of shots bounced. When I was dead I asked them if they were using gold, both said no and just that they needed to learn how to penetrate it cause its first SP they encountered, after battle one of them showed me screenshot proving that he had no gold.

Ergo armor of this tanks is "good" only against seriously bad players or really low tier tanks with shitty penetration, other than that tier 8s and 9(yes WG you play against tier 9 almost every battle) will tear you to pieces.

Well, that is the case with most of the premium tanks. When they come out, they seems much better then they actually are due to people's ignorance and lack of experience with that particular tank. But, with time, everyone who plays WOT (above tier V) either learn by himself, or read and learn from others about those weakspots. Just remember the KV5. It was monster when it came. Now everyone knows where to put shells. Its just the way it is.

Like any other tank this one requires a bit of skill which noobs are not fond of...
The devs are not stupid..this game is more complex than you think and the people who assign attributes to a tank have a lot more knowledge than you will ever have..
That's why some players bitch about this tanks and some player show their amazing earnings with it..
Job well done WOT for a balanced premium tank!
Next time you want to buy a premium tank...play it on the test servers first...I didn't like it and I didn't buy it so I wont bitch about it ..

just wondering how WG can review their own product and still claim objectivity and impartiality

I do not own the Super Pershing and I have no intention to buy it
why? simple - it's a medium tank that performs lower than a heavy tank roughly in same tier
as for how much it earns vs repair+ammo cost, that can't be assessed correctly on a test server, it has to be done on live

Well, I think superpershing is good for what he is capable of to do, if you guys want a buff with more acceleration and speed it will be just more good tank something premium tanks should not be, and when guys are wining that it is earning much less with superpersing instead of lowe or t34, what is the price of these tanks?

If you want to spent more money to earn more easily made 100k credits buy the t34/lowe (not even so easy at all)

Or you want to buy a interesting new medium that have another roles then a normal medium have who have potensial to earn same credits as others premiums.

So I don't see any problems with this tank when he is not taking damage from 5 is-3 bl-9 gun shoots in a row I played yesterday.

If I could refund this tank I would, moves slower than most heavies and gunned like a medium. If it were supposed to be an armoured beast it needs more because against tier 8-9 it got now chance. DONT BUY IT. If you need money there is better premium tanks to buy, well all other tanks are better.

Do you remember that time when typ59 was facerolling everything in its path in battles where he was 90% time on top and was fightning against max tier 7 and other types ? And it lasted for many many months

This is a very poor premium Tank, the penetration and damage is not sufficient to deliver the shots into sides and rear of the enemy simply because it is too slow to get around them, it fills no roll at the battlefield, it cannot be at the frontline because of the incredibly weak gun and it cannot be a medium flanker because of slow speed, so what can it do? it cannot even stay at the base and guard arty against T-50's because the turret turn too slow, it's just a very booring Tank, every aspect is under performing, I guess you could say it is Superpoor, I can understand why Wargaming made this video, they are simply not selling this Tank because nobody wants it, the video is a pathetic attemt to grow those numbers but that is not enough, the Tank simply needs to be buffed if anyone ever would want to buy it. I will give you a tip, if nothing is done about the speed, give it a bigger gun with more penetration and damage, if nothing is done about the gun give it the speed so it can be used as a flanker. in it's current configuration it is terrible. it cannot keep up with the mediums, hell it cannot even keep up with the other heavys! this Tank needs some serious buffing, I wouldn't like to drive it if you gave it to me free. if I would buy it then it really must be buffed considerably!
