i am only asking my self how many games have the so called "testers" played? or did they watch the game play video and decided its GREAT and tanky... The game had/has great potential, but only if the WG wakes up. My opinion can not be changed trough some online "gamers" media. Let them play for few months and do the swet and tears with us and then we will see what is tanky and what is buggy?!?

Every business book tells you that doubling your business in a year is suicide. With our St Petersburg and Kiev studios they don't have to re-invent the wheel, they have a successful hit concept to work with that was pioneered by World of Tanks. But don't forget that with World of Tanks it took more than two years of development before it was live. To get to the same stage with World of Warplanes it took ten months.

World of Tanks is "live" ?
version 0.7.5

am i missing something?

(like a plausible reason to believe this propaganda)

:Smile-hiding:

<Edit: oh , and ofc, WG know better than "every business book"

...hmmm, what if WoWp bombs? <bad pun intended and included at no extra cost>

will the investment capital be re-couped by say....lots of in-game adverts for SMS text gold? >

Let em interview some of the players of this game, not everyone just the top ten in global rating hall of fame, to tell what they think of this game

We interview players time to time as well as clans.
I guess the interview with top ten players is not a bad idea. I'm sure if you play a lot you must like the game. Otherwise why should you play the game you don't like?

'Cause they are still waiting for the MWO invite?

Meaning - why not to interview top players indeed, after all they can say only positive things (we hope so), which is the main condition of picking players to interviews.

I would think 99% of normal players reviews would be deleted after getting a warning point for telling the truth. In wargaming world you love every bug as it is working as intended.

I'm a player. You going to say I'm not?

My interviews aren't cut off within a few seconds, am I really the 1%?

No the 1% are the serious complainers. The game has issues, what game doesn't? Wargaming aren't hiding anything at all, they're ofc not focusing on the bad points but many "bad points" a lot of players have are double edge swords... what's bad for one player is good for another and they have to try to please everyone.

MWO? Give me a break, that game isn't as good (and I have access) atm and I doubt will ever be as big as WoT honestly but we'll see, they have chance to improve it. Call me a fanboy if you like although I review a lot of games professionally *shrug*

I think many of you here who are being hostile for no good reason need to calm down. Understand that there are many things on Wargamings plate. They're still re-covering from HUGE expansion of their business in record breaking time, they're not "messing about" but going in every direction so quickly they need to hope they don't break themselves.

Anyway, I'm going to stop feeding the trolls now but I'll leave with one last thought:

How is insulting anyone who covers this game and says "pretty good!" or interviews Victor with how things are going anything other than news helping anything?

Also it's not highlighting just the good things, World of War often points out things that are broken or things that need to be done just not in a hostile way.

Wargaming also listens to people who don't just scream at them, maybe you should try it.

Edit: You don't always know the full story, stop always assuming the worst.

is getting a page on 6 obscure web domains and one that calls the game "tanky" is now called great press coverage
are you for real!? wake up!

I watched the interviews and there's nothing new in them, absolutely nothing that was not previously mentioned
did U even showed the physiscs preview at GamesCom, at least?!

truth to be told, WoT didn't evolve one bit in one year (since last GamesCom)
CW is still BETA and there's no sign of it getting a release any time soon or even that long awaited merge of map for all 3 servers

Apart from the new British tanks? Maybe not in the interviews but the new thing was Generals... Wargaming isn't JUST WoT now.

who cares about some half baked browser based game that we know little to none about!?
and btw the "Generals" game was announced as in plans at WG studios for quite a while now, maybe more than a year

They showed them off at gamescom and said they're planned to be released this autum.

Many people enjoy card games, in fact many like it more than WoT itself. Just because you don't care. This was the first look at it though. Half baked? The producer on it also worked on Heroes of might and magic a fantastic series... So the skill and talent is there I don't know why you're so hostile towards it. It's not like they're taking away from WoT with it.

I'm sorry that wargaming didn't satisfy your WoT needs at gamescom, but why so angry?

I'm not angry, at disappointed at them
they call great press coverage by getting mentions on some obscure sites ... and so on

as for the "card game", good for them, but is it out yet? I guess not

Anyone see this post?

Also, I think someone should have a word with the WN(WG) developer (specifically NA forum - Vallter);

(From here)

As the EU team has no problem putting WoWP up for nominations...

No, which is a shame, I can't wait for it! The guy who produced it is a sound guy.

Maybe see this post as Wargaming throwing a bone to the smaller sites rather than helping themselves? Ever thought of that?

Wargaming doesn't need to post news on their site that only their players go to in this way so maybe they're just trying to help the small sites using their fan base?

I'm throwing different ways of thinking at you because it's not all malicious...

Rules for the EU / NA and RU are all seperate atm. As I said before, wargaming are expanding so quickly they're finding it a tough job just to keep things together, cut them some slack :D
