Lol, really? WG is so awesome!

So maybe it was a replay bug, they're slightly funky in 0.8.0 anyway. Gonna exit one on test to test and will let you know.
Ok, done. On the test server, I drove a T-50-2 onto a hill into a corner where nobody could find it (I had to be pushed up :)), and exited.

For that I  did get a repair bill, and in fact the highest possible one for maximum hull + module damage. Harsh. Battle report showed me as having taken no damage but being killed by myself. So that's the same as the AMX 50B did in the OP then.

Battle was won. I received 0 XP and 0 credits. Should have been AFK instead. :)

So I assume this is a bug then. In the current version, it shows a text if you were not in the battle. I doubt that the correct message for exiting the battle is that you were killed by yourself.

On the other hand, I am happy that those who leave the battle will pay for it.

in this pic you can see I've actually made a profit, if I didn't used the lend lease oil, I'd have +5k Cr more added to that

I didn't included the Lowe dude because he did some team damage and I'm not sure how that affects XP gain

Great examples, thanks. I feel Wargaming is already regretting implementing the detailed battle report. :Smile_trollface-3:

Just came back once again to see how it goes and if we did have any official response yet... seems like nothing happend yet to give some explain from WG side... i seen pretty faster posts about other stuff... i do understand they need some time... but still. It's starting to look a bit suspiscious now... :Smile_ohmy::Smile_ohmy::Smile_ohmy::Smile_ohmy:

The XP difference could be down to the spotting bonus.

Frenchy didn't get much XP from lighting up tanks that were damaged by others, but it's possible the AFK guy did. If any enemy tank entered his view range and then died, he's gonna get XP for that.

I have a theory...
Because there is one bot (which you have to pay for, because it drives and shots for you) that has a failsave to prevent people from beeing banned.
You must have at least 1 Gold at your account, otherwise the bot didn't start.
Seems that having at least 1 Gold on the account is a very secure way to not get banned.

P.S.: No, I don't show you which bot. You will not get a link or the name from me.

Still... i know when i had some pc problems times ago.. i now and then just random dc'ed when i logged in somethimes the loadscreen took long times... so i ended up the garage... with 0 exp and 0 credits. Thats bugger but ok... happens. But it's really easy to do the same here, the report says he did not drive 1 meter with that tank not even shoot 1 round and then you get this.. well i think for the people who like to bot instead of playing a game and by that ruin another player his game and get rewarded for that... duno how you think about it... but it doesn't feel like you get punished and never will do that again. Instead it will probably even encourage them to do it more.

And yeah i would be pleased to have a rather official explanation about this from anyone from WG.

I posted the detailed stats for the afk medium in the OP, he did nothing of the sort. He spotted nobody, and no damage was dealt to anybody he lit up. Also enemy didn't get close to him, cause I blew them all up that side of the map. ^^

for me this is nothing new, I knew from the days I 1st bought the Lowe and Type59 that premium tanks can end in profit on lost battle and being destroyed even on standard account
but I never abused it

I tried to make ppl aware that premium tanks are the hand of god, provided directly by WG to AFKers and leechers .. but who listens ...

Sure, we all know that, but as long as you spend money WG loves you long time. It's just nice to finally be able to put some comparative numbers to it.

this is the answer...
sad sad...

one other strange thing since we got the new after battle report
in most of the battles, the top player in the losing team earns less XP than the lowest player in the wining team :Smile_trollface-3:

LOL. This openness of stats has backfired on WG :)

Good call.

Ohnunununununununo, that's not how we feel, is it?

Openness is a wonderful thing that makes our toes tingle!

The guys have simply stumbled over some kinks that the powers that be stand poised to iron out.

I would prefer them being open, but they have closed so many stats and figures since the initial release I have been a little disappointment/disillusioned.

eg. It would be nice to purchase a tank knowing what it's camo values were - as proven already, it can be calculated by 3rd parties so it is disappointing that they are not upfront with this information.
