Hey,
i'am about to buy a new notebook. and searching for one that has relative good graphic card,
and think about to buy this one:
ACER ASPIRE V3-571G-73616G50MAKK
-Processor Intel Core i7 3610QM Quad Core
-2300 MHz
-Intern RAM-memory 6 GB
-NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M (2GB)
-Storage 500GB
now, my question is, can i run WoT with normal FPS, like above 20.

I have 30 FPS on system with dual core and ATI HD 5470 M. It depends what settings you are going to use what resolution, what OS etc. WoT can run on crap machines but it can also run slowly on top of the line machines.

Its a lottery with the WoT engine.
As a single core, the engine they use (crap) you will find out how well ONLY when you get the new PC.....I run it on two macines, one 7 year old dual core viao laptop and 1 mb GCard....runs really well, the other a very fast, OC'ed quad (water cooled) with a twin GTX570DUII cards (water cooled) and it "sometimes" runs well, somthimes bad
.
Best of luck, but really, buying a macine to run WoT, not a good reason to choose one.

The 640M roughly sits between the GT555M and the GTX460M. I have the 460M, it does the job coupled with my i7 2630 @ 2.6GHz, the CPU do not go more than that in game.
I have from 125fps to 35fps , since game isn't optimised with multi core, it bottleneck himself ...
You won't get any problem running the game smoothly with that config, if it does, just lower the resolution.

I have a i5 aspire, it runs, however it is not playable on full resolution.
I play on resolution reduced to ... 1366 x whatever and most details not above medium.

resolution usually does not lower FPS tbh (only if graphic card does not have enough memory). Details are far more important.

FPS now around 30, but can drop to 10 if driving with tank thru a shed. FPS gets higher the less tanks around me
BTW: tried MWOnline, graphic is completely different but nice, ambient, and runs in unbelievable performance compared to WoT, however WoT makes just more fun for me.

Im running the game stable on my laptop that is a few years old, it has a dualcore intel CPU with each of the cores clocking in at 2,1 Ghz along with an ATI radeon mobility 4330 and 4GB of RAM.
You should be able to run it no problems whatsoever

As already said, you should without any problems (maybe without antialiasing and other high-level details, but it is ok).
About the laptop itself, it is ACER, which is a good laptop if your take care of it, but don't expect it to last forever if you don't have really good care of it.
I suggest you to buy a "cooling" base (https://www.google.c...iw=1171&bih=550) for it.
And no, I'm not an anti-ACER fanboy, but in my experience, when I was in College, I bought a Dell Inspiron Laptop and lots (6+) of friends bought ACER laptops.
Well, my Inspiron still works flawlessly (slow because it is an 8 years old machine... and it was used as main gaming platform 3 years, with more than 8 hours of use per day between playing and programming) and not a single ACER of my friends have survived not even half that time...
So again, looks a good computer, give him extra care and should be ok.
