Has it not been serverly nerfed in 0.8 ?
It cant turn as sharply as it used to stop it flipping ?
Ever notice they release tutorials for dubious reasons ?
Right after the Type 59 , MM change
The Type 62 (which is pretty meh )
ANd now this after they're gone and changed it

"As well as being one of the fastest tanks in the game, it is also one of the most vulnerable ones"
Tell that to the heavies who bounce, fail to pen or hit it for zero damage as it dances around them...

"3xR, dont turn or change direction, get scout medal (if your team wins), die, lose a ton of credits"
There, fixed it for you ;-)
Driving in a straight line in the T-50-2 = instagib.
Active Scouting
Constant random jinking at all times. Stay near cover, be that buildings or terrain such as rocks and ridges and keep dropping out of sight and reappearing in different and unexpected locations. Never stop and never drive in a straight line for more than 1 second, if that.
When running away from the enemy, check there are no obstacles in front of you, hold right mouse button, then look behind you and jink away from any turrets pointing at you as get back into cover. If close to an enemy heavy often the best tactic is to get in close to him as it's much harder for him to track you when you are close than if you are far away. Once close, run away on his other side so it take even longer for him to track you.
Try to get an enemy light or medium to latch onto you and lure him back into a killing zone of friendly heavies - that's always good fun.
After enemy is thinned out seek holes in their line to go arty hunting or flank and kill lone enemy heavies.
Passive Scouting
Increasingly difficult due to proliferation of fast tanks but aim is to rapidly get to a bush in a good position and park there spotting enemies for your team to kill. Don't move, definitely DO NOT SHOOT. Watch enemy tier 10s drive within 70 metres of you and not spot you thanks to camo net and 100% camo skill :-)
Basically do nothing, and get tons of XP and credits for it with no repair costs.
Once enemy is thinned out go to active scouting mode.
Kamikaze Scouting (not recommended)
If you absolutely have to die quickly at least check your own arty is ready for you then run pell mell for expected location of enemy arty but preferably via an indirect route. Face hug them to a) stop them turning, b) possibly put them between you and their team mates shielding you, and C) increase chance of them taking fire from their own friends. Expect to die very quickly most of the time. Also, in high tier battles expect friendly arty to target the vehicle you are face hugging. If you're probably going to die anyway it's often best they take the shot (IMO) and I do say that as a T-50-2 driver.

Totally off topic - This means the test servers are down. When they're back up we'll let players know.
T-50-2 is a great little scout and this video will hopefully teach people who only suicide scout and don't really do much to help their team, (when they have a pretty important role) to play the tank better.
A scout still alive at the end of the game can cause chaos for enemy teams and is valuable for spotting enemy tanks/arty to allow team mates to take them down. Not to mention dealing with damaged enemy tanks on their own.
Remember videos like this are all about sharing information and tips to players. We're looking to help players and there is lots of great information in the video. A lot of work has gone into it.
