Wonder what the plot is. Seems like a moe show like the start of Sora no oto
For some more serious action id rather watch Valkyria Chronicles or any of the countless mecha series.

Girls and Panzer plot (Quoted from wikipedia):

Quote

The story will focus around high school girls battling in tanks. The setting involves a universe where the art of operating tanks (戦車道 Sensha-do?) is a traditional martial art for girls. The protagonist, Miho, moves to Oarai Girl's High School, where she is ordered by the student council chairperson to participate in the national Sensha-do championship.

Obviously it won't be much of a serious anime, but everyone needs some fun stuff once in a while.
Looking forward to seitokai no ichizon S2. :Smile_glasses:

I'd say play the Valkyria Chronicles game if you have a PS3.
The story is told in quite a different way sometimes, and there's plenty of intel on EVERY ingame character even the squadmembers that aren't "that important".
Edy, go for it! :Smile-izmena:

Much better than the anime (I like the anime but the game is much better delivering the story).
I'd even recommend the 2nd game (Beginning here it's psp only), I like how EVERY platoon member has a background story with lots of detail in it.
The 3rd game was great, too... but I only understood about 1/3 of it since my japanese is rather bad.

To begin with i dont even have a TV ;), no need since im always at my PC. I know how people say that Manga and VN's and games deliver the story better etc. But it just doesnt have the same impact on me as anime. Some prefer movies over books, same goes for the anime shows :).

Yeah that's true, but the game is 50% playing 40% video 10% crying (You know why :Smile_blinky:)
Too bad you've got no tv, I loved the combination of cool gameplay (strategy, fps, rpg) with a great story and of course anime.
Still playing from time to time, it's always fun driving the imperials out of gallia.

There's a lot of stuff that's different or atleast far more advanced into the story.
STORY SPOILER
Spoiler

Usually, the girl is the one who rides you. Either <insert soviet russia joke here> or <insert sex toy>.
(both are cool btw).

This is the... Third(?) topic about World of Tanks: the anime aka Girls und pantsu. :P

I'm not expecting anything from this anime (well, maybe except from some occasional pantyshots :Smile_veryhappy:) , and that's why I think I'll love it.

First ep was more into story and less into fan service, and I hope it stays this way.
I liked the ending to the first ep, too.

And I pray to the gods of anime that they won't make the same mistake as with strike witches and go down pantsu route all the way.

"Who ever heard of a man driving a panzer?"

"Yeah, those two just don't belong together"

LOL.

But I could sense some tragic backstory there (sinking pz3).

Can't wait for ep2.

No man dont prefer these tanks, the go for a leopard 2. Just look at the fact that women mostley drive small cars and man mostley a bigger one. Here its the same with tanks, those are tanks for woman.

oh you are so wrong, so many women around me(sweden) drive classic american muscle cars. Even my mother, and they are not really known for being small. But concidering its anime there will be enough space in the tanks for as many pantsu and clevage shots as possible.
