Was just looking at dossiers of peospective candidates to AX there and I noticed it shows how many hours of the game you played , uploaded my own dossier and yeah , I'm kinda startled by the results , I know WOT is addictive and all but jeez I need to stop playing 
So 8001 battles has taken me 3 weeks 3 days 15hours 33minutes and 3 seconds which is a bit depressive
My tank with the least omount of time in it was my ELC with 1 min and 41 seconds
Most time was my Type 59 with 4 days 16 hours 32 minutes 53 seconds

322 Hours - quite a lot less than I thought, much less than some MMOs or other games I played (League of Legends at least double this number).

Since I started in open beta (which isn't accounted for) and played for a long time I think I "wasted" more time reading books than playing wot.
Then again how can you "waste" time on a hobby?
As long as your social life or job/school/pizza/whatever isn't affected who cares how you spend your free time?
Videogames are one of my hobbies, just like reading, jogging, swimming, anime, and cooking.
So... why being depressed if you found yourself a hobby that is fun?
Unless it's no fun... but then again people tend to drop hobbies that are no fun... like I tried modellkits... not my style, too much precision work.

If I trust XFire my playing time is over 3300 hours. That's almost 20 weeks. Time well spend.

Does the dossier count the time spent training crews, painting tanks, buying and selling, mounting equipment, etc. etc. ?

A better more funny question is how much hours have we waited those 30 seconds for the battle to start.. If I count my beta time, and the time I've played on the account of friends, I would say twice the amount of battles I played now since release.
That means, I've waited nearly 100 hours of waiting for all those battles to start..

WOT is addictive to me in bursts, much like other MM-based real-time games like COD BO. I'll log on for my x2, sometimes I just get it on a few tanks and play smth else, sometimes I grind for 8 hours straight and only quit when I'm too fuzzy-headed to play properly.

My dossier file tells me my average lifetime per battle is 3 min 36 sec. To those who take more than a month for less than 9k battles I can only say doooodz get off teh base and start to fight!
