The biggest mistake community ever made is let users "vote"...
Answer to your selfs, do you vote for these on top 10 list ? Some of them are 5 min works.
Personally (and I guess many other players) next time I wont participate in any contest where voting will depend on player's vote.
Honestly, I was hoping community will change her mind and will make community members vote instead, because of massive dissatisfaction...
Even Chuck couldn't solve these problems out...

p.s. prognosed neg rep: 624 pts.

Voting by reputation system is big pice of s*it, no offense... Look at the poor first page of topic. Everyone had about -30, because one account can put only 5 postive and 5 negative votes per day and can't even change it!

Why did't you make a classical poll in first post? Ah, to much work...

is it possible to get to know the amount of votes even if not in top ten?

To many clans voted on their own clanbuddy and negative voted the ones who had some votes.. it didn't make sense at all.. even the voting on the US server went a lot better. And I simply can't believe some of the winners in the top 10, but heck who am I.

This contest remarkably resembles me major random games: ill-organised and full of skillless players. I do hope person in charge of the contest wont be allowed to run anything similiar to this again due to fact few playersd put around 7 hours into their images whereas assumingly players from 2th, 4th, 5th, 7th and 9th places like an hour? In special this guy from 7th place...7th postion with this image?! ARE YOU removed KIDDING ME?!
And ofc "Yeah, dont blame us for the votes players gave on contestants" removed which undoubtly shortly were going to view willclarify everything...that the contest was removed up.

Well everyone of those winners were in clans so that might explain something :p

But seriously, even tho I'm alittle butthurt from this it's not that big of a deal, WG will probably not do another contest like this again so see it more like a experiment gone terrible wrong and horrors unspeakable have been let loose on our little peaceful town.

Run, run for your life and don't look back!
Cheers.

quote removed

In the first place, how the heck can you tell from an image how much input someone made in to it? You got a nice skill set there if you are able to do such thing. /sarcasm

WG already explained they can see every + and - vote. And they ignored the - votes.
So stop your unnecessary whining complaining.

Its not about + and - system. It's about letting to vote players - winners are not the best (or at least to this side), but quantity of friends / mates player have.

Another formula could be 50 / 50. Half of voice weight have community and another half - players.
Second (way better) could be 100 community.
And third  (best I guess) if community wants to know players "opinion" - 90 / 10. So if players would know that their weight will be only 10%, the clans vote activity would not be so sensible.

You do realise that even if we did a normal vote system that could still be manipulated by groups of players?
Everytime we involve the community there is accusations of cheating, or things being done unfairly.  When we chose the winners we're accused of being biased or that other entries should have won.
It's always unfair if you didn't win I guess.  We can't have everyone win and when it's a contest based on people's opinions then they have a right to disagree.

What I can safely say is that a contest based around using the rep feature to vote, won't be something we use ever again.
