You know he just took everything pettingson did and called it his own and only changed some minor things? Or rather added his own ideas.
Not even reffering to Pettingson. Russians did that with my horizontal tech tree too.

Hey, I'm sorry if my techtree might look like a copy of Pettingson's but I have to disagree with you, my version of the vertical techtree isn't a copy at all.
Pettingson's techtree in the forums here motivated me to do my completely own techtree. I studied some of his files to find out some tricks and thanks to him I was able to learn editing the SWF values but if you would look into the sourcefiles of my techtree (especially the SWF files) or if you would take a look into my thread you could see that I have built up my techtree with my own ideas.
If you still don't believe me, take a look at this screenshot:
Spoiler
For example the vertical "enhanced" lines in the screenshot are completely different from Pettingson's and they are even more different if you take a look in the source code of the upcoming version.
Or the nation buttons on top of the tree - Pettingson never did something like that.
Or the dots instead of arrows just like Grim_Ragnar said.
Or multiple different colored lines.

There are much more things so if you or Pettingson take a look into the SWFs and XMLs in the next upcoming version of my techtree (1.5) you can see that it has no similarities at all.

Just posting to confirm this DOES work with 8.2, but obviously the new tanks aren't in the trees yet; may have to stick with the ghastly side-scroller for now until Pettingson has time to rework it.

I m sorry that I cant put that into a spoiler but if I do that u cant see the Tags anymore.

As u ll see i switched the Light Tanks line out. Therefore I had to use now 11 rows to not make some curious brake somewhere. If u wanna do this I think switching T40 and M10 Wolverine to row 4 and therefore all other Tanks 1 row to the left it ll fit that.

The other thing I dont understand is how u make the angle point of the lines from T1 to T2 so u ll notice a curious lane brake atm. I think u fit this at the swf file, but i dunno how to edit that one. So I cannot do this (Thats why I told before that one has some problems).

The Edit mean I ve to say one thing at least:
I hope u can understand my English cause I m not a native speaker but influenced many by native speaker over the net and therefore I just use many abbr.

Edit:
  • Added Mutant 6
  • Change row of T2 Lt (dunno why it was at T3 row)
Edit 2:
  • Should be added 2 new Premiums to British and 1 one to France tech tree
  • <GB63_TOG_II>

WG added definitions for all corners, it should be possible to draw straight lines now instead of pretty \o/

The ones that stole it and improved it never gave credits to Pettingson,
Either way if you want a vertical one check one of them out http://forum.worldof...l-techtree-v21/

I'm already using it but I still prefer the Pettingsons one because it's more "clean"
