I understand what you are saying, but at the end of the day the lads on the Russian forums are paying customers. It seems to me to be bad business practice to treat your customers with such blatant lack of respect.
I think a lot of it is simply down to the fact that WG have had zero competition for the last 2 years, they are complacent with looking after their cashcows (that would be us). However, there are 2 good games in development that are looking to compete directly with WG.
Both those games have devs that are very active (and polite!) with the respective communities. If they are as good as I suspect they are going to be then WG are in for one hell of a shock when their active player base up and leaves. Why should we show them any loyalty when their lead dev talks to his customers like that?
