Hello,

I have been browsing some topics refering to premium tanks and credit earning, but they all seem out of date since patch 8.1 was only recently released. Concerning my questions then:

1) What is the best credit earning tank or tanks at the moment? You can basis your answer on an indefinite (+oo) number of matches with a 50% Win/Lose ratio, considering 1 kill (consider same tier) & 1 death per battle. Don't care for fun nor playstyle as I prefer to take the maximum income regardless of the rest.

2) Do tanks like the Type 59 (Chinese) or the KV-5 (Soviet), that are gifts, ever going to be on sale or offeredagain? Have been seeing really good feedback on forum discussions about the Type 59.

3) In the German tree (the only ones I have), what will possibly earn me more credits, the HVLowe or the TDJagdTig8.8cm? I think you can assume the same conditions as in point 1).

I am enjoying this game very much and currently have seven Tier 4 and 5 tanks. I want to speed up my credit income and have to choose between buying gold to trade for credits or to buy a premium tank that will earn more credits per battle. However, I suppose buying a premium tank is a better investment in the medium/long term, no?

Thank you

Type 59 and KV-5 are only special offers now. I mean you can buy them only rarely.

But please, pretty please get at least a T7 tank before buying a high tier premium tank. There are just too many newbies (not noobs. newbies), who are inexperienced in high tier battles.

Btw, Löwe is the best moneymaker, but Type 59 is the most powerful one. The choice is yours. Löwe is on sale now, or you can wait for the Type to be offered again.

I like the Lowe, but it's armour is quite thin, and the T34 has much higher pen and damage. The Jagdtiger 88 is quite good, due to the shells being about a quarter of the price of the other 2 tanks, and a reload rate (rammer, vents and 100% crew, but know BIA) of about 4.8 seconds, which gives it the best DPM, and while it has the worst penetration (I think), it is still adequate. In my opinion, for credit farming out of those 3 tanks it goes: T34<Jagdtiger 88<Lowe. But, if you're going down the german HT line, I would suggest going for the Lowe, as you can use your german crew and it plays similar to the Tiger 2.

dont buy any.
u dont have experience for 8 tier premium.
u dont know weakspot and u are not experienced enough to face better players
just buy premium acc for some time. with 4-5 tier tanks u should have enough money.
with premium u even can go in profit with IX tier tanks.

T34 and Lowe are the best moneymakers which u can buy at the moment. Credit income comes from damage caused, and this 2 tanks has the same DPM. (type is really good but, not in store now) JagdTig8.8cm has a good ROF, but harder to handle...it is a TD. T34 has higher alpha damage and slightly better penetration. Lowe has better accuracy and aiming time.

vidokas is right: wait with high tier premium tanks! Buy lower tiers first, u can farm enough credit with them to your average tiers. If u get in a tier X battle with T34 f.e., u will feel strange and u wont be able to handle the situation!

What you have to consider is ammo cost/penetration value/dmg output ratio of each tank. For example to be able to earn loads of money with IS-6, SU-122-44, SuperPershing or even JagdTiger 8,8 cm you need to develop some serious skill to know, where to shoot and how to cover for your tank's weaknesses, because all these lack penetration while being tier 8 and facing heavily armoured vehicles.

Next thing to consider is what tree you want to grind most because you can use your premium tank to train your crews from other tanks of the same nation and class.

BUT as being said above, stay with lower tiers. Don't buy tier 8 premium right now because you could be shocked how different the high tier battles' gameplay is from what you know now. Then you would be no addition to your team, you wouldn't enjoy the game and moreover neither your team mates would.

If you want a premium tank, buy any of tier 5 or 6 ones or better, invest in premium account and use tier 5 tanks for farming credits. I'm currently using pz IV, used M4 and SU-85 before. Actually now I'm grinding British and Crusader earns good cash too. It'd get you enough cash to keep high tier tanks running.

Don't consider this as some kind of offence, we all have been beginners once and we're still learning new stuff and the worst thing you can do is rush it and then find out to be lacking something.

I bought my super pershing today, I like it very much, sure it has some drawbacks, but overall it is fun (for me) and makes good cash. Plus with the discount this weekend it is very cheap and cheerful :)

I think the lowe is getting more bouncy with every update. yes it earns but the gun used to be ace in pen now it feels no better than t-34.

Please DON'T buy tier 8 premium now.
Buy it when you will have grinded at least regular (non-premium) tier 8 tank.
There are already too many newbies in tier 8 battles.
When you really want to buy a premium, buy a tier 5.

Next question would be which of the lower tier tanks make the best cash.
I am clairvoyant.
Plus the OP asked for opinions in what tank you think is the best, not what he will be good in because as we all know people will do as they wish with their money and god forbid you come between WG and their cash... :arta:

Well i am using now the Dickermax without premium as money maker and last time i got 1,5million creds in 8hours
BUT Dickermax is hard to play so a noob wont make this or a not so skilled player, cus the ammo cost is relative high compared to the other tier 6 TDs

My experience is with Löwe and T-34.
Things seem to be status quo for those two. T-34 is easier to make credits with in most matches with the high alpha damage. But the Löwe is not bad at all, only requires more skill from the player.

88 JT is the best profit maker, highest DPM by far and dirt cheap shells. It's 88JT and T59, then T34 and Lowe.

Löwe > 59 > t34
Löwe: camp the shit and play sniper 100k +-
type 59 max crew can hit targets on the move = $$$ 60-75 on
t34 is tricky if you have luck and can get 10hits on hightiers up to 140k but in most cases you die after 2-3 so 40-140 ^^
i used this 3 since first day they released
now the new
panther m10 little bit diffrent to typ 59 but played like löwe the nr1
rusian TD funny but as usual td cash gain = luck
ahh superpershing no clue but I think i should get him too :D

Lowe ftw!

Great pen
Decent ROF - 9,9 ( BIA, rammer , vent)
Decent DMG
Perfect sniper.

Lowe is a 2nd line tank. Even if u r top tier tank U should play in 2nd line.

According to the data provided to the WoT Performance Analyzer the best money maker is the Type 59 and the second best is the 8.8 cm Pak 43 JagdTiger: http://forum.worldof...92#entry3063492

I doubt that it has changed with the release of the last patch that did not touch these tanks.

Type59, are you completely sure? My bro had lots, and lots of matches with over 100k credits.

Type59 will problly never ever be for sale again since Serb dont like the fact that it got no obvious weakside so those who got one will eventually be quite uniq  :Smile_honoring:
