My little monster always get high tier games since 7.5 came its always bottom of the list and rarely middle or slight top did they ruin this tank now i have nothing better to do but get owned or 1 shotted, This tank should not be bait its a good little tank but the 20mm gun on it cant hurt tier 2 tanks like the french tanks so think when it gets into tier 3 and 4 matches this is ridiculous.

I just got called a "Premium noob" by some BT-7 driver for asking how can a tier 2 light end up in a tier 4 battle. This makes me very sad, but also a bit angry.

Yep, i bumped into an AMX 40 with it. I really can't see WG's logic on this one.

The T2 Light Tank seems destined to go up against tanks, which it has no chance of damaging.
It can't really maneuver anymore; not even on pavement.

I guess Wargaming decided they'd just make it so unpleasant to play, they wouldn't have to remove it from the game.
No idea why they hate this tank so much.

In those battles, I just go full scout, at high speed. Can last up to 5mn, doing zig-zags at 70kph. Get plenty XP with that :Smile_trollface-3:

Sad truth apparently. The chances of getting into the lowest possible battletier is much smaller than for the highest. Chances should be even.

7 out of ten games you will face Tier4. And i really really cant believe im having just bad luck here.

Yeah but, at that tier, you get a lot more XP from scout runs. And those heavier tanks have problems hiting you. Last night I circle-straffed a Wespe down to 90% 'cause his mates couldn't hit me. :Smile_great:   and then one 1-shoted me, but what the hell. I got plenty of XP.

I've recently revisted this little beast for the first time since 7.2 (unrelated, just got busy with other things). I notice it's MM seems much worse now. Far fewer tier 2 games, usually tier 3 or 4. I've fit it up with vents, optics, and binocs to try and boost the view range, and my radio op took signal boosting to get the 20% radio range increase. Even so, having trouble using it as even a mediocre scout. It's not working as a bush spotter. Getting to the point where I'm thinking I need to ditch the binocs and run it like I use to run my A-20 back when I was not just a shit player, but an inexperienced shit player (ie, suicidally rushing through enemy lines).

What do you guys think? In tier 2 games, the thing's still a beast. Autocannon change made this thing into a monster of an assassin at tier 2.

Im glad i got this tank for free because I wouldn't spend a single dime on this piece of trash!

The tank itsself is actually pretty neat but it has such horrible matchmaking that its not even fun to play.. Why does a tier 2 tank meet tier 3/4 all the time WG? What is the reason behind this? No fun allowed?

It's just inconcievable how tanks like the 38H738 are matched against tier 2 max and are clearly OP when this tank wich is anything but OP (it has no armor and the same gun as most tier 1 tanks?) has to get horrible MM.

The only thing this tank has going for it is speed. But since it has no manouverability it gets pretty much one shotted in almost every match (except for that 1 match when you do get fair mm out of every 10 battles)

Truly a piece of shit because of matchmaking.

It's not a combat tank, it's a scout tank. Use it for high-speed scout runs, and you'll get much XP and $$ from it.

In tier 2 games it actually is VERY much a combat tank. It's got an autocannon and a 5 burst drum. And unlike most of the tier 2 tanks with autocannons, it's fast enough to drive past to their rear armor. Makes a hell of an assassin.

I think of it as a scout tank that can, on ocasion, fight it out. It's a saffer mind set. And I have caused havoc with it; in city fights, zipping in and out of streets at 60kph+ :Smile_trollface-3:

You'll note my utterly abyssmal survival rate. I don't have a safe mindset. Double edged sword, but I've found that it occasionally pays to be more reckless than anyone else on the map. They never expect charges over the minefield... under cover of daylight.

Of course, it also often bites me in the ass.... but I never claimed otherwise.

The T2 Light Tank is not a scout, since it lacks that very important scout ability: Maneuverability.
I'm not sure how you guys are "zig-zagging" and "circle-strafing", as all I experience is this very cumbersome T2 that wouldn't able to maneuver its way out of a straight boulevard.

It really shouldn't encounter tier 4 with a radio unfit for scouting, almost zero armor, a very low penetration-gun and poor maneuverability. I sincerely believe the current MM is very unfair to this formerly fun tank.

How is the MM with this tank in 8.0? Considering to get it.

Unchanged. Still fun as hell, though.

Unchanged but with the physics, the fun factor increases by 200%. No longer will you be bullied by the Hetzers, you'll fly over them.

I present to you the A-20. Rocket in straight lines, turns like an 18 wheeler.

PS: How does this tank handle drifting? Is it like the T-50?

My tactic against tier 4 opponents:
1.Find someone busy shooting at your teammate(s)
2. Approach them, ready to bail if they engage
3. Park (or slow down) behind said enemy
4. empty your clips
5. RUN!!!!!
6. repeat steps 1-5 until killed or battle ends

Seems to slide a little bit but not alot, you can certainly get some good air in it anyway. :Smile_veryhappy:
