Had a nice game with the T2 Light Tank with tier I/II teams on Mines (ex Pagorki).

Started in the north base and sprinted together with a BT-2 over the right island and the next sandy stretch directly into the abandoned enemy base, parked there (BT-2 was now there, too) and won the game through capturing :)

One of my shortest battles ever (and without firing a single shot).  :Smile_honoring:

Yesterday I surprised the enemy team in Himmelsdorf... I went through that seldom-used street from main square to the church, and they simply did not expect my little bugger to hit them in the back. Killed just 3 MS-1s, but led half of their team's Tier 2s on a wild chase, as they seemed to take it personally :)

I bought this tank the other day and I can happily say its the best fun I have had in this game. I persuaded my friend to buy it as well.

Awesome little beast!  Not only does it go stupid fast but running circles around tanks is hilarious.

You get people waiting for you to appear around a corner, fire, miss and then you see them think 'S#@t' as you proceed to whiz round them at high speed gradually pecking them to death.  You can do this quite happily even if there is support near by.  On a game the other day we belted up to the other team and started whirling around - 3 kills each and we won 15-1.  All of the enemy fire was trained on us and the rest of our guys just picked them off.

I have soloed tier 4 tanks even though it takes a little time.  Hetzers are the funniest :)

I LOVE THIS TANK!

The T2 is my favourite tank. It's combination of speed (fastest in game?) and manouverability makes is extremely hard to hit. And it's gun can hurt almost everything it comes across.

When I really really enjoy it is in city fight maps. I zig zag in and out of streets too fast to get hit (or at least too hard) and can go around the entire enmy team before they can find me. Other fast tanks (BT-2 etc) simply can't manouver well enough to chase me around the street corners. Damaging 5-6 tanks in one battle is normal for me, and I've gotten 900-1k XP in the 1st win of the day. Looooove that little tun can  :Smile-playing:  :Smile-izmena:  :Smile_great:

I ain't had many tanks but this is also my favourite.

Thought i'd test out the premium n as i wasn't sure i'd get it again i though it'd get a cheap prem tank too. Brilliant investment.

The speed and handling are class, gun is no heavy hitter but it can fire really fast. especially when i bought a 100% crew to go with it.

Managed nearly two full laps Mines before i bought the farm in it. :Smile-izmena:  Not a bad earner as you can get in and out of games real fast in.

Although, i am pickin up some bad habits from driving it and switching from T2 light to a KV is beyond painful. lol  :Smile-playing:

The T2 is a brilliantly fun little thing to play. It's like a sports car with a 20mm cannon strapped onto it. It's good for a little differnce inbetween playing the heavies.

The first tier battles are great fun. I love blasting off as the match starts and damaging/destroying as many enemy tanks as I can before they can destroy me, which by that time they have the rest of my team blasting them. The higher tier battles (3 - 4) are good. With the speed you can quickly get into the enemy's back yard and take out their TD's & arty. I'd be happy if this little speed machine was put into even higher tier battles. Yes it's almost a given that you will die a firey death within the first few minutes, but you can be sure before you go you will have raised some hell!

All in all, I love my T2 and am so glad I invested in it.

T2 light vs H39 German premium would be an interesting duel, the best 2 premium lights.

Not really. The H39 has plenty of armor; the T2 would be hard pressed to cause damage to it, whereas he H39 will have no problem punching holes in the T2. Damn those french and their thick skins :)

If you play the H39 too, you know its weaknesses. I have some H39 in my kill-list of my T2 ;)

Been a while since I played my T2, so I decided to take it for a quick spin.

First match, bottom of the list, and this was the result:

Spoiler

I have to say, running circles around arty while they tried to go 'super TD mode' on me was extremely satisfying!  B)

I totally love my little T2! Aside from the fun things already mentioned here by others I would like to point out that it is so small that it fits behind any bush! In fact, it gives you a whole new look at the shrubbery...
So, next time you are in last place in the starting list, use its anourmous speed and a camoflage net to whizz to a suitable bush on a hill and observe the battle from there. Not tank does this better and should you actually be discovered - most unlikely - then you can buzz off in a flash. The T2 makes true scouting easy! Shame about the radio though.

I'm not having as much fun with my T2 Light Tank as I used to.

- First of all it has had its maneuverability significantly lowered.
On all other surfaces than concrete/asphalt roads it can't even outmaneuver some of the most cumbersome enemies, which I dare say it used to be able to do just fine.

- Secondly the T2 Light Tank seems to constantly be put into battles against tier 4s.
The T2 is not a scout. Its radio is completely unsuited for that purpose. It's supposed to be a quick, fast-maneuvering light tank with a very small punch from its puny gun, and it used to excel at that.
Now it's forced to battle tier 4s, whose armor it can't even penetrate from the rear. Try going up against an M3 Lee or T-50 in a T2 Light Tank. You probably won't get many hits in, unless you have gold ammo. (I have been unable to penetrate the T-50 anywhere, really)

It would be nice if the T2 Light Tank could either have its old maneuverability restored or not have to go up against anything above tier 3.

Yeah...this tank seems to have taken a hard enough nerf that it is not what it once was.  Like others have said...too many T4 matches and not nimble enough anymore.  The turning radius is disappointing.  In the T4 matches it is literally useless because it has neither the view range nor the radio for the task, and cannot damage anything at that level.  Getting stuck with a T2 in a tier 4 match is probably the best excuse to suicide scout, which I really don't find fun.  I bought a T2 and a Locust at the same time and ended up selling the T2 before hitting 50 matches, while I love the Locust.  To each, his own, I guess.
