I see stretched pictures, picturing around like regular pictures!

Unless those M3's really have a big butt like that?

Anyway, looks impressive. Many Shermans?

I like the perfectly restored valentine.

You say he can build perfect replicas from scratch. What does he do about the guns then?

Hey my friend.

No not from scratch but if a part or item cannot be sourced he will loan an original from a museum or collection and his engineers will make a exact copy, amazing to see, Guns-No (well not yet!) :Smile_Default:

Agreed and he would be the first to agree also, the issue is simply space, like a lot of large collections, even the Tank Museum in Bovington has a lot outside. Every one of his storage areas was absolutely rammed.  :Smile_Default:

Hi Guys - Brian from The Research Squad here - we do a fair amount of work with Kevin and the collection and help with research and the like when we can

The last time I chatted to Kevin he said he had 17 Shermans.  :Smile_Default:

If you want to have a good look check out the collection website www.wheatcroftcollection.com - I have added quite a few pictures series to the Hires Gallery section over the years of various items of interest. Kevin also has one of the largest collection of Indian and Harley motorcycles in the world, and the worlds largest collection of Formula 1 cars at the Donington museum.

If you want to see in details how a restoration of a Panther is done from scratch we are producing a 3-4 volume set of books covering the entire process - you can see Volume 1: Drivetrain and Hull on our website
The Research Squad

In the meantime if you have any questions on the vehicles let us know and we will do our best to help

Brian

Just curious, but did you get to see the Tiger VI that the Americans are keen to get back?
