My most favorite anime.

Initial D (頭文字 (Kashiramoji)(イニシャル)D Inisharu Dī?) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shuichi Shigeno. It has been serialized in Kodansha's Young Magazine since 1995, with the chapters collected into 45 tankōbon volumes to date. The story focuses on the world of illegal Japanese street racing, where all the action is concentrated in the mountain passes and rarely in cities nor urban areas, and with the drift racing style emphasized in particular. Professional race car driver and pioneer of drifting Keiichi Tsuchiya helps with editorial supervision. The story is centered on the prefecture of Gunma, more specifically on several mountains in the Kantō region and in their surrounding cities and towns. Although some of the names of the locations the characters race in have been fictionalized, all of the locations in the series are based on actual locations in Japan.
It has been adapted into several television anime and original video animations series by OB Planning, Studio Comet, Studio Gallop, Pastel, and A.C.G.T. A live action film by Avex and Media Asia was released in 2005. Both the manga and anime series were initially licensed for English-language distribution in North America by Tokyopop (2002–2009),[1] though the anime license has since been picked up by Funimation Entertainment, while the manga is no longer available.

Initial D anime movies are kind of strange, I don't really like the non-existant dynamics in them. Not to mention the characters looks like they teleported from the 1980's to 1980's, and everything else teleported to 2010 from 1980's.

THANKYOU!!!! Didn't realise 5th stage had an opening already, it has been a long wait indeed! I've been hooked for a few years on the Anime, and actually have stage #1 and #2 on DVD.

By any chance could you link stage 3 but in original with subs? Can't stand american versions.

Also be sure to check out Wangan Midnight, for more Car Anime stuff

They'd win a lot more races if they didn't constantly have the ***hanging out round the corners.

Mind the language please.
