A crew can be trained for multiple vehicles at the same time, and then you can use it in multiple vehicles without retraining them because they are already trained for your vehicles! Every. Tank. I. Have. Bought. I. Bought. A. Fresh. 100% crew. to. Go. With............ I have a lot of tanks in my garage, nearly all with 100% crews. I even had to expand my barracks a few times to get space for them all.

There should be an option to SACRIFICE crews and transfer experience to other crew members, or at least some sort of option for a paying customer to correct his mistake. Let the solution cost more gold, thats fine, noone is forced to purchase unless they want to.

6000 battles played and tens of thousands of gold spent on crews - and not even one single crew member has 3 fully trained secondary skills.

To me this seems like punishing paying customers, ok paying stupid/uninformed customers but paying customers still... Please make an option to merge crew from similar vehicles into one.

Would you care to explain how a crew can be 'trained for multiple vehicles at the same time' ?

I think he means he bought crews for lets say the LOWE then bought Crews for his Tiger 2 then realised he could train his Tiger 2 Crews in his lowe instead of getting two sets of troops?

huh?? A crew can only be trained to fight in one tank at a time right? you can retrain them for another tank but they lose the ability to drive the previous tank at 100% skill.. So how do you figure you can have a crew that can operate multiple tanks?

That is not correct, pls read here:

http://wiki.worldoftanks.com/Crew

"...A crew member is always trained for a specific vehicle. Should a crewman operate a vehicle that he is not trained for, he may receive a penalty to his training level...."

So a crewmember can only have the training for one vehicle at the same time, crew can not trained for multiple vehicles at the same time. If you retrain a crew to a new vehicle they loose the skill for the old one.

This only works for crew in the same class used in premium vehicles. If i have a T32 crew they can be used for no penalty in a T34.

I try only to play till I get x2
I don't have the energy to move crews or equipment around.
So I have several binoculars when I could move one set around and I have a crew for each tank.

the tech tree is expanding so I still have to train crews for the coming tanks. Either you use the prem tank to bost existing crews or you use it to start working up a new crew ahead of the arrival of new tanks.

More interesting would be if my crews will have the ability to share some tips/knowledge between them. Let say My Tiger 2 commander, share some advices to my VK4502A commander about Sixth Sense (not for free, for some credits amount, nobody gives free lessons), and Vk commander will start to train in Sixth Sense skill from 40%, the rest he will learn "by practice". Wouldn't that be a good idea?
LE: About moving crews between tanks, i don't think that someone forgets so easily how to operate a tank, after he fought in another. So, maybe the good solution will be to allow tankers who fought on some other tanks previously, to get acquainted again in a  couple of fights. No need to learn everything from scratch. (almost). Should be "like riding a bicycle", you can't forget that. :)

That's not a bad idea -  pay a small amount of gold and you can train to (say)  50% of the other crewmembers' skill level,  provided they're the same nationality.

Well if you have a premium tank you can use it to train a crew that is just sitting in the barracks provided they are trained in the same tank type as the premium tank.

For example, you can use the JT 8.8 to train your stugIII crew before getting the Jpanzer.

I used the T34 to train the crew i will use in the T32, same crew i used in the T1HT.

So i can make money to buy the new tank useing a premium tank, while training the crew used for the next vehicle.

Every. Tank. I. Have. Bought. I. Bought. A. Fresh. 100% crew. to. Go. With... I think he drive his T32 and when he buy M103 he buy new crew,he does not transfer the one from T32... I think he wanted to say that.

The rule of thumb is simple. Many Premium tanks dont need crew. Just use crew from same nationalty and class.

Ex. Use E-75 crew in Löwe and leave empty when not used. This works wonders in specials like this weekend. Get first win bonus + 2x crew-xp special on the same crew twice (accelerate training for mega boost to two members)
Works even better at x5 event like we just had hehe.

But only premium and of the same nation & class (heavy/med/light/ect)

What I think is it would be best to have one german heavy tank crew, and bring it to your next tank. That way you dont have 10 tank crews with 1 secondary skill each, but instead one tank crew with several secondary skills :)

I retrained Lowe crew and put in a loltraktor, and I can switch them back and forth without penalty.

Its possible it only works with premium tanks, hmm...

He means that he bought fresh crew all the time instead racking up exp in one than retraining it. Like from KV1 to KV2.

It should work though. If a crew was trained in a luchs first, and then to drive a pz38, why can't they operate a luchs anymore? Are they senile?

My 100% crew from T26 are used with no penalty in my Prem Valentine..But its only possible to use a 100% from a normal tank into a premium. And no retraining.  :facepalmic:  :Smile_sad:
