Hmm, im almost at the covenanter and wotwiki tells me its armour is like the t-28, and i like my mid tier tanks to be hard hitting and withstand a decent amount of punishment, so should i switch to do the med/heavy tree or stay with the light/med tree?

That is up to how you play, I love the coven, it is week but nimble and can do lots of damage.

also it leads to the Cromwell after the crusader, which is an amazing tank with the final gun.

I am only on the matilda with the heavy tree, it is good but slow, and not so much fun for me.

In general:
  • LT/MT means fast game play, thin armor high rate of fire (RoF)
  • HT means slow game play, more armor, low RoF
You only have a few battles overall, I suggest to stick to a single line and bring this to the end.
After that you can still switch to a diffrent vehicle type.

Switching vehicle types on a daily base will make it more difficult to master master each type.

Your choices are few, and somewhat simplistic....

1) Quick with poor armour
2) Slow with poor armour

I'm doing both lines, since I want to see what both the heavy and med lines are about. At tier 5 so far. FWIW they are both good tanks. Churchill could actually possibly even be the new tier 5 top dog....
