Yes. Time has to come!

This gfx card been at my computer since it were released to markets. I have been starting to plan change stuff around my computer as i'm missing SSD and good GFX card.

Computer layout

CPU: Amd Phenom II 1055t (Hexa core) 2,8GHz (clocked to 3,4GHz)
RAM: G.Skill 16GB Quad Kit Ripjaws DDR3-1600 F3-12800CL9Q-16GBRL 9-9-9-24
HDD: terrible 7200rpm samsungs 750gb as main (next uprage here)
HDD: Seagate 7200rpm 1tb
GFX: XFX Ati radeon HD5770 (Next uprage too)
POWER: Hiper type R 880w II (1,1kw peak)

HDD will be ordered with GFX card.

Issue is:
I cant pick what to buy.

There is 3 cards i been looking mainly.
MSI GeForce GTX 660 Ti Power Edition 2GB GDDR5 192bit, 2xDVI/HDMI/DP
MSI AMD Radeon HD 7950 OC, 3GB GDDR5, DVI/HDMI/2xMiniDP, PCI-E 3.0
Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7870 OC, 2GB GDDR5, DVI/HDMI/2xMiniDP

I know my Motherboard is not PCI-E 3.0 but that makes my loose ONLY about 5% of gfx power.

So do you have own suggestion what GFX card and why?

Here is some critics I'm having:
2gb+ GDDR5
Cooling MUST be dual fan or better.
Cost is 200-350€
and it must be competitive at benchmark value/performance
Ps. You can suggest my next uprages too. SSD HDD ideas are mainly secondary... New computer case is coming too!

Yes... I'm nerd... I want computer to work!

Take HD 7950: Almost as good as GTX 670 when stock and better when you overclock, at least from what I've seen.

I have heard about it but as more poor Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7870 OC, 2GB GDDR5, DVI/HDMI/2xMiniDP is 100€ cheaper almost i would get faster dual of them after motherboard change or keep 1 fast Gfx card and buy new Gfx card later when 8k series relased?

I'd say, either the 7870 or the 7950. Both cards are fantastic. And pretty cheap too.
The GTX 570 is quite obsolete seeing how Fermi is obsolete in almost all ways, including performance per watt and raw performance. Though 180 is quite cheap for such a card

570 is on par with 7870 and cost 1/3 less

570 is much more on par with the 7850. The 7870 is even faster then the 580 damnit. It might cost less but it also uses 2 to 3 times as much electricity aswell.

This is good point for me.
As i'm paying own bills i don't want to have computer using 1kw/h  :Smile_veryhappy:

With all these points seems it's worth of going 7950 oooooor! Is hd 8xxx series already coming?
Should i wait them come?
Aka...

Prices are going down really? O.o
Should i wait for these beasts to come? I would have money to buy fresh from release after those prices!

as wot is a single core game, so buying a super hardcore graphic card aint ganna make you max it with 100 fps :P

you probably know this...

Offopic:

(banned for making a graphic topic :Smile-hiding: ) :P

Well my computer is for more stuff than WoT  :Smile_teethhappy:
Tough WoT is my main game atm but that's because steam sales is not up yet!
and after patch WoT become more GFX card usage game than CPU... Or then WoT does not know how to use my CPU at all because my core what is running WoT is under 20% usage.

well, with my first generation I7 (4.01Ghz) and 6990 i run wot at 80-100 fps at most maps, but as we all know, there are some maps that are a little lagy that are getting fixed now for radeon cards, for example south coast.

+ i run bf3 and MOH at max, but cannot max arma II for some reason :/ (Dayz)

Im running Asus built Nvidia GTX 660 Ti, getting framerate of 60-80 when running at economic settings, but if i set it to full blast ive had 130 fps out of it, somehow

Your System seems to be good enough for handling WoT... i would buy a good ssd and wait for the ati hd 8xxx series... can't be too long to wait :-D

And then get a new 8xxx or two old 7xxx

It's your choice but for me has the cpu and the ssd the highest priority in a pc :-D
