Please stop touting this as the best in the world showcase.

GL and WD to those that get to go but we all know none of the actual good teams are there. At least many EU teams are missing that should be there. And the UK team is a complete unknown to all of us here so how can they be considered the best. Best of those that turned up maybe, for an expensive and pointless event. But the best,  no chance I can name at least 40 players from the UK from various clans in groups of 6 thatd trounce this lot easily.

Still a free holidays not to be sniffed at. Like I said GL and WD to those that got to go.

Actually considering that in Ural Steel the best European team that was in Moscow aside from the Russian ones was Odem Mortis and considering that most of the people in Odem Mortis that are in China are the same ones that were in Russia leads to the conclusion that you are completely wrong. The best European teams are there, unfortunately for you since you appear to be british the brits don't really have any good tournament teams. Odem Mortis and 1SPB are probably the best european tournament teams, and probably together with a couple more polish teams they the best tournament teams in the world in WoT except some teams from the Lituanian-Bellorussian-Ukranian-Russian part of the world. So all you said was completely wrong.

How this will work? We will see the matches from the perspective of one team or it's like a birds-eye mode?

GG and grats to OM.

Gotta say though, the casters were terrible. Clearly they had no idea what they were casting about.

They were basically filling in every second sentence with: "omg he took a shot there"

During the matches I was mostly like:

Posted Image

Even I Would do a better job casting that.

Would love to see some grid-based map review beforehand rather than just babbling about nothing.
Like in hockey/soccer games where they draw arrows and stuff on a whiteboard, but in a program or something. Even Paint would do.

Also on beforehand would be good to be reviewing a few tanks, pro's and con's bout the specific tanks and their roles in the current setup.

I know its a hard game to be commenting because it sometimes is really fastpaced and all, but come on!

A really big minus was the lack of preparation.

At one point the caster started talking about "oh looks like the next map is himseldorf(?????), oh wait,it might be steppes. *2 min of non relevant info passes, game starts and it turns out to be "himselsdorf" lol.

This was really painful to watch but anyways, cool that wot is growing in Esports!

Over 'n out

I agree.

Where is other countries? Where is scandinavic, baltic, balkan?

But I think also, idea of one national teams is old. Now we must play with people from diff. countries and write it.

Most teams be from 1 country, but some not. This is better, I think.

1 place on all continents for teams without major nationality.

1-2 place for Europe , for Scandinavian, Baltic, Balkan, Hungary, Czech, Greece.... etc countries.
1 place for N.America for Mexican, Honduras, Canadian... etc.
....etc.

NOT only from big counries.

This (WCG 2012 WoT) is only for 35-50% players of world. NOT for all!

I was watching for a while, the commentators don't know anything about the game (like tier 8 is the highest tier according to them). Strange...

The casters in the Korea - USA match... LOL.

They thought the arty was a light tank (cuz of his low hp) just chilling in a bush far back.

Man, I have never seen this poor commentary.

And why the hell is tier 7 arty allowed ? (Lorr 155 51) I thought it was champion tier limit (arty max tier 6) ???

wtf?

Who the hell cares?

Clearly you if you felt the need to post that.

Many players who take part in leagues and competition play care. Many others who enjoy watching World of Tanks care. If you don't care then you can just carry on as normal and this thread or this event doesn't concern you.
Sometimes when you have nothing to add, it's best to stay quiet.
