Wow, the museum staff renewed the tanks in front of the entrance I see. Last I been there (lived in the city for a few years) the T-55 still had the original paint and remains of the canvas gun mantlet cover. Glad to see the beast received some love. Perhaps in preparation for the WoT-related activities?

Hello!
If you are about to visit Poznań, there is next museum to see http://muzeumbronipancernej.pl/en . Plenty of road ready vechicles + incredible work history on restoring old tanks. To mention a few: Sherman Firefly, Stug IV (unique one), Jagdpanzer IV L/48, IS-2, Renauld FT. Intresting story about that liitle one. It was brougth to Poland from Afganistan thanks to effort of generals, goverments and presidenst action on both sides. This particular piece was orginaly use by Polish army in 1920 war aginst Red Army!

Best regards,
Rafal

Working Stug IV is the only one in the world. FT-17 isn't present yet. It needs restoration but it is the tank with great history - it took part in Polish-Bolsheviks war and than landed in... Afghanistan. Now it is back in Poland.

Thank you for the professional conversation, your military stories were very inspiring (for example, The Falklands War). I especially like your memories about hard training at Chieftain main battle tank.
