Greetings fellow tankers.

Having finished Hotline Miami yesterday, I'm out of ideas regarding what game to play.
I hereby ask you to suggest some games you really liked, or think I may enjoy playing.

Regarding my taste, I dislike linear games, and shooters that take no skill at all. I really enjoyed the Portal series, Half life, Darksiders 2, the aforementioned Hotline Miami, CoH, Saints row the third etc.
I'm not into long games anymore, things that I can pop in and out of to have some fun are what I'm looking for.

So if you know any great games you enjoyed, post 'em here please.  :Smile_Default:

If you like RPG's, I'd definitely recommend Dragon Age: Origins. Damn best RPG I ever played. If you got some spare I'd also mention Mass Effect. Another damn good RPG.

If you like a Simulator and haven't already tried it, I'd recommend Silent Hunter III. Not the best graphics, but with patches and the add-on you get a very interesting submarine game.

If you like Strategy, I'd recommend Supreme Commander and the stand-alone add-on Forged Alliance. Quite good graphics with an interesting gameplay. I would also recommend World in Conflict if you haven't already tried that.

If you like a good RPG-Shooter, I'd recommend the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. They're quite something different compared to the average shooter.

Games I play other than WoT

Battlefield 3 and Bad Company 2: Vietnam
Borderlands 2
Mount and Blade warband (one of the best single player RPG games I've ever played with a great modding community)
Farcry 3
Total War series: Shogun 2, and soon Rome 2

I wanted to try out Far Cry 3, but I don't think my 256Mb ATI graphics card can handle it. :/
As or the older games like the GTA series, AoE, c&C,SW Empire at war.. I've already played all of them, so I'm kinda looking for a newer game, because not a lot of older ones slipped by me
Sandbox stuff like minecraft is also very welcome. I guess I'm looking for something new, like Hotline Miami is, not a lot of games this year are what you would call "original IP"...

Of course! I loved the concept, but it got a little old after a few hours, the base building lacks IMO.
The best strategy game by far I ever played was Empire Earth 1, but that was in my youngster years so it may just be nostalgia...

Well, as far as RPGs go, I'd suggest the Mass Effect series and both KOTORs.
Shooting games are more or less linear, at least most of those I played.
Same goes for strategies.
If you don't mind crappy graphics and like complex games - try Dwarf Fortress! It's really great once you get past the ASCII graphics (or you could just use a graphical pack like me :P ).
I also suggest Terraria as a sidescrolling, arcade-ish version of Minecraft.

Also, if you want something more casual, try Scribblenauts Unlimited, FTL or Don't Starve.

Have SC2, panzer general wow that's a bit old isn't it? o.O AION never heard of it, it's an RPG I'm guessing by the screenshots I found?

Player KOTOR,and Mass Effect,Terraria, and FTL (FTL was soooo damn fun the first few times).
I still haven't played trough Scribblenauts, got trough about 10 lvls, but it's not something I can play often. Charming as it is it still is a bit of a childrens game, so I come back to it every now and then.
I saw a TB review of Don't starve, doesn't like something you can play a lot, at least not on PC.
I usually don't mind crappy grahics, but I don't find dwarf fortress enjoyable, it's just too old for me; being someone who didn't really experience  games "back in the day", I just can't stand 32bit graphics.

There has to be some indie game or something that isn't/wasn't   "mainstream" because if it is I probably played it(yes, I just went full hipster).
