So,

The other day, I was driving my Tetrarch on Prokhorovka(Assault, we we're defending :Smile_Default: ).

The Game was just starting when i saw a pzkmpf 2J rushing(well more like crawling) towards our base :Smile_harp: .
I quickly turned my Turret and started shooting at it, To my surprise they all just dinged(Tettie has highest tier 2 pen :Smile_confused: ).
So by the time that unstoppable fortress reached our base I could get some shots at his side, but his 60mm sidal armor laughed at my shells :Smile_glasses:
When he started capping my team rushed in too start shooting their shells at the fortress, It was until then he had no damage and with great deal and effort he was finally slain(might have been me :Smile_teethhappy: ).

So(indeed, again) that thing took all our attention, so his team could kill us(we lost :facepalmic: )

My question is: does the PZ 2J have too much armor?

I'm sorry if i made any grammar mistakes.(english is not my native language)

Well , PzIIJ has a meagre 20mm autocannon that takes alot of skill to use vs armoured enemies .... Imo its just a KV5 at tier 3 , soaking up dmg so teammates can take the shots

The Pz II J is not really OP. It simply has the advantage that it faces people who do not understand how to deal with it. A good Pz II L driver will make short firewood of his J brother.

The J has excellent armour, but at the cost of mobility and a decent gun (Pz II J has the weakest gun ingame, and it's a tier 3 !). Overall this vehicle is well balanced (hard to pen and hard to pen with it). But the real difference is the people who drive it. The handful of players who have a PzII J are unlikely newbies to the game while the opponents it faces likely are.

Don't forget your tertrach is only a T2, with a good gun, but rubbish armour. If you flank a PZII J you might damage him, but 13mm of armour is not going to stop even the weakest 20mm ...

I think you are to bad if you have probs to penetrate a Pzw Ausf J with a Tetrarch.Go behind him and dont stay infront of him like a noob.Next you are T2 and pzw Ausf J is T3 what you except?Every shoot penetrate?
I think I was this Pzw Ausf J

i do expect that my shell goes trhu when the the angle is perfect on his side(perfect for me)

furthermore i could not get behind him and i did kill him in the end.

Well the Pz II Ausf. J has an insane armour for it's tier but a crappy gun. I mean 80/50/50 for hull and turret are a bit insane but it was a gift tank at all and it's rare to meet. Until a few days before i encountered my first and im sure that guy got steelwall in that battle.
He told me that he got the tank from the Gamescom, that WG.net was giving out there gift codes for the Pz II J.
I don't see a reason to nerf this tank, though he's really rare and i only seen one of these once, if it would have a better gun then maybe but for now i think not.

PzIIJ is a driving steel wall with bad speed, bad mobility and a bad gun, friend of mine owns one. They are great for attracting fire and soaking up shots as a distraction as most tanks can't damage it.

I play platoon with my son a lot.
So I got the gamescom code but I needed one for my son aswell. Lucky there where people at gamescom whom not were to play the PzII-J ... so my son owns a PzII-j too.
Platooning PzII-J is very nice. Just most of the teamplayers don't know what we are good at.
We do a lot of killing aswell for we know how to shoot but more , WHEN to shoot. for some opponents are just a no-go.
Gold / HeavySilver ammo is hust way too expencive so we carry some for those hardballs.
If only most teammates would know our effort they would use us more the way they should.
It's in no way OP and many games we come in high tier ... no use shooting at most targets.
I'm very glad I have one in garage.

Good playing to all out there. (exept for one player "Wat..c.......r" for he's no good to this game)

Yeah, it's pretty awesome if you need to unwind, load up prem shells ( for credits, mind you  :Smile_Default:  ) and just cruise along.

It's a silly tank, but I'd really love to have one. I have a sweet spot for all the cute Pz I and II variants/modifications. Too bad acquiring one seems extremely unlikely.
