3 of 5 Chaffee's crew are glad for this gift. And soon T71 crew will be glad too.
I've made a mistake with Tetrarch last year. It won't happen again.

Exactly, that is the reason I'm keeping mine too.

I leveled my T1 Cunningham crew in the past by driving T2 Light and M22 Locust too...

Now this hardcore crew is riding my T71 into battle, for fun and faster leveling the guys now drive the T2 Light, T1E6 and M22...

4x daily double for one crew = nice.  :Smile_blinky:

Fun fact about the T1E6:
AP ammo costs nothing, APCR is damn cheap.
You can fire APCR and win credits in the end (premium account), like in this round:

So yea, I'm keeping mine.  :Smile_blinky:

The T1 fires one shot every two seconds, thus 66 dmg in 2 seconds. This one can unload 5 shots in the same time for 165 dmg. If you are looking at shot opportunities (or alpha for that matter) instead of DMP, the difference is huge, but even in DPM its +43%.

indeed! those 5 shells are fired in a VERY rapid succession, which is a huge advantage over other auto-loaders imho.
great tank, if used wisely :)

It's not an ideal vehicle - no where near the little God of the Battlefield that the Tetrarch was this time last year, and still is in many regards.

But I ain't going to sell it, as that'd be impolite - it was a gift, after all.

I haven't found a single redeeming feature in this tank yet...the autoloader doesn't work as the aiming time is bigger then the individual reload so you still have to wait to shoot.

This tank is highly situational. On some maps like Himmelsdorf it can be great. But on others it just... well it just sucks. Only now played a game in Province, and across that valley you might as well try to spit your enemy in the face - the gun is that useless over distances larger than maybe 150 meters. Well, some good teamplay with a seasoned random teammember made us end up in a draw, with me and the opposing MicroMaus as sole survivors. I am pretty sure that if I had been in my BT-2, the outcome of the battle would have been much more rewarding. So keeping it for the sole purpose of using it for fun? Not me. But keep it for eventual future use? Yeah, I might. But the jury is still out on that one.

I managed to destroy tanks at distances over 200 and 300 meters on the Province map. My record is 353 meters, as I remember. I use my 100% crew from M5, maybe that's the reason.

I've kept it, but I can't see me playing that much with it - armour of 15/6/6.... my M2 LT has more armour than that, better speed and a better gun, and it's the same tier!

I tried shooting an M2 LT with the T1E6 and all the shots bounced at 50m, or pen with no damage.  I've lost all but 2 of the battles I've played in it.  So infuriated am I, I have switched back to my T1 with its fast-firing gun and I'm using my elite M5 Stuart to train up the crew for a T21.

What is strange that I HAVE managed to pen and damage another T1E6 from across the valley in Province with it though, so I'm going to give it another chance before it's relegated with the premium M3 light tank (formerly M3 Stuart).

it doesnt match the tetrarch from last year... by far!

Well:

Tetrach acted like a proper Tier 2. A decent Tier 2.
Sold for 60,000.

T1E6 is the US tier 1 turret with a new tier 2 chassis.
Gun sometimes fails to penetrate the side armour of poorly armoured tier 2s...
So it's a tier 1 with worse MM.
Sold for 150,000...

So you can sell a worse tank for more...

I kept it, the same I keep all gift tanks. That said, a few of us in clan regurarly have "fun runs" no grinding, just playing vehicles we enjoy..And the t1e6 seems to be awesome for that :Smile_glasses:

I've found it fills the loader training slot that was missing for the other US premium lights.

And its a fun little guy w/o the pesky bad MM that the T2 light gets.
