It is fun cracking those tanks with MS-1 at long range but as long as the game somehow started to favour Himmelsdorf it became a lit bit harder but nothing to cry about

Start playing a H35, Now you see why the T1E6 is not OP and the true OP tank is ^^.

played a loltractor game early this morning when i just woke up. Killed quite a few of them, also penning them frontally wasn't really an issue. So fun tank, perhaps, OP, not really.

If you think this tank is OP, you haven't played T18 which has the same matchmaking. Or Tetrarch.

I stopped playing this tank as soon as I got Ace Tanker. 50% win rate. Horrible battles with no luck.

Despite nice firepower at close range, it has paper armor that bounces nothing. And it can't penetrate tanks at a distance. This last thing is actually quite a huge problem, because low tier battles are played on a few maps. One of them is Province. You will need to scout, and pray your teammates kill enemy tanks. Which really isn't ideal as they're gonna have 50% crew. Ideally, you want to kill the enemies yourself. Similiar thing on Malinovka. A lot of kill opportunities are in the very beginning, and even later penetration and accuracy at a distance is a good thing to have. On Himmelsdorf, shoot and hide behind the corner is much better IMHO than going out and unloading the entire magazine, and taking shots at the same time.

I guess it's OP against Tier 1 50% crew noobs...

Played it a bit, imo it sucks.

It's OP.

Play platoon of those tanks and you will kill everything.
At close range it can kill all tanks up to III tier without problems.

Of course if you meet noob in T1E6 driving through plains straight forward you - you won't feel T1E6 OP.
It's far better then Tetrarch.

With our clan if we make a platoon of BDR's we will own everything as well, does that make the tank op? Or is it just cause capable players play it?

Crappiest tank ever given away by WG I think. I play often with LTraktor, so I encounter T1E6 a lot lately. Easy prey but I needed to change the tactics on Mines as there is no chance I will arrive at the hill on time when 6-10 T1E6 are on the enemy's side.

Still it's a good exp giver as it is Tier II, so I enjoy killing T1E6s.

Garage slot and 150k silver is fair enough for a gift from WG ;-)

Didn't play mine but I played 40 games in loltraktor and Panzer 2 yesterday. These tanks are everywhere at the moment, half of each team at least but they always seem to die first en masse. I saw a platoon of 3 of them get owned by a single MS-1 down to hill on Himmelsdorf. They catch fire very easily, and they have trouble penetrating a Panzer II. Got 4 Spartan medals in 30 games thanks to T1E6 :)
It's nice that WG didn't do the same mistake as with the Tetrarch and Micromaus.

T1E6 may shine with 100% crew + skills,, but it is hardly OP. Fun tank to play anyway: nice speed, decent armor, nonexistent accuracy...

T18 is OP,

That TD has very good speed and very nice gun and very nice frontal armour.

Played a number of matches yesterday and I can safely say that this tank is only OP in the right hands.
I do enjoy this little monster alot, dumping a full clip into another tank has a huge gigglefactor..

However....
It has a number of horrible weaknesses and is mostly team dependant to have a good degree of success.
My crew being well over 85% right now..

Most new players have actually not a sincle clue how to use it effectively.

Accuracy and the expanding aiming circle make it fairly useless on maps like Campinovka, where 90% of the newbies stands on the line and uses it to snipe.
Good luck doing that with .5 accuracy and a fairly limited clip imho.

They get picked off as soon as they light up... no armor is the 2nd factor.
I was lucky to have a few autocannon bounces on my frontal glacis.. all other stuff, including bugs will fly nicely through it.

Hitpoints: fairly OK, still armor is none, so once hit, prepare for crew death or fire damage.

Speed: Fine in a straight line, turning is a littlebit meh..

Acceleration: actually very good.

Traverse speed, could be worse... still sometimes too slow, rotating it on spot will take an hour..

Damage output: Awesome, just pack a few premium shells (20 or so) for those nasty Micromauses/H35 and T-18 Trollboxes.
Flanking them is almost the only reliable option to take them down, even with gold ammo.
However, the 5-round clip size is not always enough.
Panzer II and IIIA sometimes pose a problem on a low damage roll..

On maps like Himmelsdorf, this tank can do some damage.. use it to hunt and ambush, hit and run.
On a map like Campinovka/Karelia: Go for the hill/forest..
Province: take the fight to the enemy side, don't stand and snipe..

And best of all: hope that your team is fairly capable and picks off anything you scout with it.
Most of my defeats came from horribly incapable teams, with me - even in T3 battles - ranking high in the score list.

So in short:
T1E6 is not overpowered, only in the right hands and with a decent team supporting it.
Just take it up close and personal with the enemy.

It's not OP, there are just so many of them at the moment the chances are one will kill you and it will happen so often that you'll start to get annoyed by it and make an OP post. You can compare it to the Cunningham, however,I would agree that its fire power in comparison is a lot better. It has a decent number of hit points but it's armour isn't amazing and i've had no problem killing it. It's quite a nice target when it sits still but it has speed that tests your targeting for sure.

As people stop playing with their new toy you wont notice it that much.

You must be joking every game I've been in the T1E6 get steam rolled by just about everything they can't even hit you unless they're within 50m.

In all fairness...I used a T-127 on these poor new tank arses!

Needless to say a grand total of 5 of their arses taking me head-on wasn't enough for me to spare them an arse-whopping the likes of which you'd think I was using hax...

Well, I enjoy my T-127 tremendously these days because of that, but then again, it will do that to any other T2 tank and many T3 tanks as well. The problem is most players cannot use it to full effect because they try to use the low accuracy high damgage burst weapon on longer ranges where it fails hard. But used correctly, it's devestating. One sneaked up on my Tetrarch, and in the time i reloaded after my first hit, he effortlessly got rid of me. I did 40 dmg on him, he 140+ on me.

Or maybe because most people playing the tank have no clue how to play the game..

Nice little gift from WG. I'll keep it, if only because I made a mistake selling the Tetrarch last year without even playing it  :Smile_sceptic:

I put my experienced Chaffee crew in it (free transfer as it's a premium tank of course), some equipment and premium shells and found it quite nice. Definately not OP though. I can imagine people running with 50% / 75% crews have a hard time in it.

Played it a bit yesterday and saw Micromauses, S-35's, T-127's and the like having a field day against hordes of T1E6's that couldnt do anything against them.
