I think the M5 Stuart is epic but other people don't. It is alot of fun when you fly into a Pz38Na at full speed and through it up into the air then wipe it out completely with the 75 mm, who here agrees?

An M5 Struart actually tried to ram into my Pz38na like you said and he got killed by his own artilarry who was trying to shoot me. Also I got a medal for that.

I fell in love with this little bugger. Play it like a scout/brawler.

Only problem I have is with its derp gun and its totally random damage.

Any view on Skills perks.  I will be keeping the crew in this tank and they are now 99-100%.  I was thinking 6th Sense for the commander but I'm not sure on the radioman perks or whether to take gunner perks over camo.

Well they're all at 100% now.  I've taken 6th sense camo on Radioman and Loader.  Not sure on other two.  4x camo might be smartest or possibly designated target?

Maybe the best passive scout of the game: use Camo all the way !

Well, so far I played 56 battles with M5. I tried to play it as a scout but for some reason every damn battle I end up lurking around the battlefield trolling enemies with the mini derp. I was expecting some kind of sh!t tank after reading forum comments and in-game rage, instead what I got is an epic trolling machine with lots of fun.

As good a reason as I'd even seen for getting the tank in-game.  Keep at it, she's a good little tank.

I would think that the Chaffee is better at that with it's 400m view range and 100% camo on all crew members

Edit: Could the owner add a 'Middle' vote option? (Not good but not bad) I just don't like the random damage of the mini-derp but it does it's job

Just had a battle where I was in a ditch on Erlenberg and a M5 (I was in a M5 as well) came at me but just as he drove off the ground I shot his underside and killed him and his wreck flew over me into the water XD. This changed my perspective of this tank forever

I elited it yesterday after 87 battles, now as soon as I can afford it, I'll buy the Chaffee and transfer the crew. I have enjoyed this tank a lot, I used the time with it to learn scouting and prepare the crew and myself for the Chaffee, and I must say that the grind was faster than I though. I could have sold it as soon as I researched the Chaffee but I decided to elited it and research the M7 too, to play with it a little more.

What to say about the tank? First, the MM was unexpectedly nice to me, I fell mostly in tier IV-V-VI battles, where the M5 can devastate the enemy team. Using it well, just with your view range you can change the fate of a match. I had very nice duels with Matildas and other scouts. In tier VIII battles it can do very nice passive scouting. But it requires good hands and good situational awareness to be where you are needed.

I recommend everyone to try this little beast, but I recommend you even more to read guides and watch replays about scouting first, because scouting is very tricky no matter the tank and not everyone is able to do it. Tazilon's guide and replays with the VK2801 taught me a lot of useful tips that I put into practice with the M5.

I'll miss the Stuart a little, I hope I'll enjoy the Chaffee. See ya.

yeah, the M5 is a fine scout. I used it to get to the T20 via the M7 and E8 though, not for the chaffee (dont know if it even was out back then)

I said goodbye to my Stuart yesterday. I finally got the Chaffee.

Loved that tank. Moves like a cheetah with a rocket up its arse and has a derp which is as random as a headless chicken. It's the best low tier troller in the game, with a brilliant camo/view range combiation which gives it great passive scouting ability. It trains you well for the Chaffee.

Also, who else thinks this lil' thing looks as cute as a button? :3

I still play it.  Want to get that crew up to 100% and play with 6th.
