On behalf of Adobe Systems Incorporated ...

You have heard wrong! Adobe is absolutely not providing free copies of CS2!

What is true is that Adobe is terminating the activation servers for CS2 and that for existing licensed users of CS2 who need to reinstall their software, copies of CS2 that don't require activation but do require valid serial numbers are available. (Special serial numbers are provided on the page for each product download.) See <http://forums.adobe....hread/1114930>.

You are only legally entitled to download and install with that serial number if you have a valid license to the product!

So to any mods ...you can lock/delete this thread.
I'm sorry for any confusion.

So I have edited the original post.
So you can get free copies and valid serial numbers from Adobe, but only if you own the product to begin with.

Really ?
So this is what ???  (http://reviews.cnet....ite-2-for-free/) a sign that I did with bad intent ??

After reading the adobe forum you honestly think I did this out of bad will ?

Do you even know what the logo stands for ? because I think you have no idea.
I will quote 3 points from the Uppsala Declaration to give you an idea :

Quote

1. reform of copyright, exemption of non-commercial activity from copyright regulation, reduction of the duration of copyright protections; banning of DRM technologies, opposition to media or hardware levies;
2. reform of patent law, particularly stating that patents on life (including patents on seeds and on genes) and software should not be allowed;
3. strengthening civil rights, transparent government, speedy and fair trial and freedom of speech; expansion of the right to anonymity in communication.
