Q: How does the 'Keep old XVM configuration file' option works?
A: Once you update to the latest game version, your res_mods/0.8.x folder is no longer used, so the utility will simply copy your old configuration file and put it back in your last XVM version installation directory. Use this option if you don't want the standard configuration created by the XVM's creators.
To keep the same sarcastic tone: thanks for reading! This option works only when the game is updated.
So, someone on the french forum told me that "Keep the old configuration file" was a bit ambiguous, I agree with that anyway and I'm working on it.
I think there is no need to use sarcasm or whatever, I do this on my free time and I'm not a paid programmer so if something goes wrong I think you can inform me normally, it won't hurt. Also please remember I made this program to help people and I'm not earning money or whatever with it, I don't wanna bother you if something doesn't work but it can happen.
Also, you should have read this probably:

Please keep in mind that this software is still in development phase, some errors can appear on unusual configurations (old computer, over-tweaked WoT installation, restricted user account, ...). Anyway, I'll fix all issues as fast as possible if you give me enough informations: which error, 'Current action:' line text, WoT installation folder (if detected), Windows version.
So as I said, every problems/bugs will be fixed as fast as possible, just give me some time.
@ dieselro: I just made this for you:http://www.mediafire...vfqyiqlolsg8x7lWith the last version (1.1) of XVM Updater, just drag & drop this file on the program icon without starting it previously (a message box will appear saying that the script source has been forced). It will uninstall completely XVM and put back a shortcut to the WoT launcher on your desktop, do not execute this script if you have mods in your res_mods\0.8.2\gui\ folder, because the program will erase everything in that directory. XVM Updater will told you that XVM was installed successfully but it's the default text to say everything went fine, please note that none of the options will work with this script.
