Friend once told me that he is playing it. And I had seen some advertisements in russian websites. At that time they had like a little trailer in advertisement. Then I told him I thinking of trying that game. At same day I was in my first loltraktor games. Idea came more like suddenly not planned. In one day I decided to try it, got it and played it.

I would have joined at the time of the beta, but there was a power outage and I completely forgot that I wasn't downloading it on the uTorrent. Some time later a friend of mine reminded me that this game existed and I joined.
As for bacon, there is a lot of good meat products available, so I don't eat it.

I'm a bit of a history and tank buff, so when friends mentioned it, I jumped in.

My old NF Clan short after some internal Power Struggles got disbanded.
Most of the Oldschool Members stayed together on a few Teamspeak Servers some Members and/or Allies had still Online.
I got some Knowledge on Administration and Creation of TS Servers and Homepages.

During that Times most of the Members startet other Games and at least 5 or so groups Formed Own Clans in their Respective Games or spread over several Games ^^
So I gave support on some of them and thus stayed within most Teamspeak Servers.

Well I am sure you can guess this already but when WoT Beta were about to come out some of the Members of course also Startet that Game *gg*
Sharing Beta Key Giveaway Links and otherwise supporting each other on Joining WoT this grew quite large within short time and even spread over to former Allied/Friendly Clans from Navyfield ^^

On the Day the Beta Startet we were with about 30 People playing about 20 hours a Day :P
Counting down to get into the same Battle ^^ (there was no platoon back then ^^)
It took not even a week to get my King Tiger ^^ (and I was not even one of the first guys of us on T8 ^^ )

Well anyways this is how I came to WoT back then

Tough I miss this a bit
in this times there were hardly 2k players in WoT and even when we just played without counting down with 10-30 people we usually ended up in the same battles with a few of us ^^

A friend/co-worker asked me to try it.
When I played for the first time he wasn't online, so I decided to learn the driving/operating/controls while I waited for him.
Naturally, I entered a training room (it made sense at the time) with my Leichttraktor on Lakeville and got shot to smithereens in the canyon within 2 minutes by a big tank (don't remember which one).
I got so furious that I couldn't even practice, that I rage quit and didn't want to play this stupid game ever again.
Next week, my friend persuaded me to try again, and to play with him in a platoon instead.

18-odd thousand battles (plus the open beta), here we are.  :Smile_Default:

Btw, it took me a couple of days to figure out that I could upgrade my tank and modules. My friend asked why I kept driving the same tank over and over.  :Smile_veryhappy:

Another friend played SPG for a week without knowing that he could press Shift to enter satellite view. Oh, the good times when we were noobs.  :Smile_teethhappy:

Was watching 2 people play it on their lunch break at work. Looked awesome fun and when they told me it was free to play I downloaded it and got stuck in. We'd rotate who got premium each weekend so we could do 3 man platoons.
