Took this HDD from teachers computer to clean it. Somehow computer did boot in 40 minutes...

If it's the same crap like on my work: CPU 1,4 GHz, 256 RAM... Yes, it will take a lot of time.

Doesnt defrag need at least 10% of free space to be able to defrag ?

Not if running system is at different HDD.

free/total 0.83/9.77 is close enough :)

Maybe you could clean it up a bit from temporary files etc?

All temp files were deleted to get some free space :P

couldn't you just drop it down the stairs and say... it broke down because there was to much crap on it?
