I would say the stock gun... That extra penetration is needed more than the extra Dmg. Still 2 secs is Damn fast reload. AND, it lights up the enemies more often.

Nice replay. I bet you'll get a prize after Chinesse Special Contest will end next month.
I play it as a passive scout because the performance  is far behind other tier 5 light tanks like t50-2, Chafee or vk2801.
But it's ok.... I still have some fun :).

LE: Guys, what equipment do you use on it?

This tank is the very worst light tank in the game on a par with the A20 and not one shot has it bounced with it's dome turret in over 50 games.  Every shot you take gives you full damage and even on the rare occasions you are up against tier 7 only ...you still die just as fast and deliver very little damage... Also the hp pool should be increaced to 850 so at least you can take more than two hits.

Why are you expecting to bounce in a LIGHT tank? Why are you expecting to take hits in a LIGHT tank? Go back to your Type 59 if that's your sort of thing!

Vents, optics, EGLD

Rammer isn't good enough in my opinion, can rarely use DPM effectively.

Well I do indeed use the Rammer, (Obviously because I don't like passive scouting Due to the fact that I don't have 6th sense), maybe I will but Coated Optics, Repair Box and CO2.

I use the autoloader gun. From Bat. Chat. I'm used to find some target which I can destroy, run to him, unload shells and run away. Lack of pen isn't problem if you know where to shoot. And with mobility you can circle tanks so it't easy to penetrate...

Well, there is only one thing to say about the autoloader gun on this tank: it is the most useless cannon i have ever seen, heard of or even imagined that it could possibly exist. 86 penetration isnt even anywhere close to being even remotely enough. Not even for unloading in peoples backs. You might get the one or other odd penetration when taking your time to aim for weekspot on afk mediums or spgs. But what can you honestly exspect from a gun that requires you to flank an AMX12t to be able to damage it?

this is good exsample how good  autoloader is ,and after that i win a battle and nearly kill T34 tank ,and kill one  AMX12t tank
this is superb tank for flanks ,scouts , and if u cant kill tank ju can disable hes tracks and lure ur teammates to kill enenmy tanks ,, also distract the enemies works when u meet 4-5 tanks  all aregreedy and lookinfor
easy target so ;) this is ur change

and what was fun go enemy base make artys restless force them to move around and show their position hehehe ,this one is also tier X battle

Stock gun for me. Loaded with gold shells (15 no more) to pen the backs of E100s etc.

This tank on T8-10s performs well if team performs well. Especially T10s, where people are going to miss you a lot.
I have harass JTs, OBJ268, E100s, Batchats you name it (with std ammo these). Anything T10 that can be pened with 100-189mm pen and run circles around cut off enemies.

With normal AP ammo almost killed a Panther 2 on my own (left him with 200hp) at brawling and running circles around it. Shame (to annoyance) that a T49  rush down hill at Dragon ridge, just trying to kill me. Abandoning their lines, and crossing 600m the opposite direction of everyone else.

However the biggest issues are at T6-7s battles. Where we are against an HUGE influx of Helcats that can chase the poor thing and kill it in 2 shots.

So if needs a buff forget the gun. Add 40mm armour without affecting mobility. (which is slow)

Either way, have more fun with it than the T21 surprisingly.

I've gone back to the stock gun. The magazine gun never really sounded good to me, even in theory, but I gave it a go. I think that gun is simply way to situational for this rather versatile tank.

Off the top of my head this tank has several possible roles. In no particular order:

*Hunt enemy scouts - 57mm gun is better
*Mobile scout/bushscouting - Gun is irrelevant
*Rush to important map locations and hold off the enemy fast tanks - 57mm is better as even a 9-second reload will kill you (but then this tank is not really designed for this anyway)
*Snipe early in the battle as the lines are forming - 57mm all the way
*Flank - In some cases the 76mm autoloader can be better, but then you bounce 3 out of 5 using premium on the side of a TD and start changing your mind...
*Hunt arty - Autoloader is usually better.
*Rush to reset cap - 57mm all the way.

So in conclusion I would have to say stick to the 57mm stock gun, and load 15-20 premium shells to damage those tanks you have problems penetrating with regular ammo even when flankins or shooting their butts...

i use
- improved ventilation
- camo
- binoculars

this tank is awsome ,lookslike works everytime where is artyparty each side 4-5 artys u can keep agressive fast moving enemy position spottings ,,i was win few battles today with same simple tactics ,,, autoloader against artys are deadly ,and u can keep movin away very shorty after arty was killed,, also T50-2  scouts + AMX 12t is easy to kill with this ,,,

i can say " there is a free tanks to kill meanwhile u movin forward to enemy position etc  "

I have made a test using WOT Statistics tool.

Batch of 100 games, 50 with stock gun and 50 with autoloader. Vents, rammer, optics. Crew 100%.

Averages like dmg, xp, effi per battle with autoloader shows 4 times increase over stock gun.
I play it like a french tank, hoping asses and flanks, ignoring targets i cant penetrate.

Its just like a french tank, not for everybody.

3rd game all the way. i was about to stop playing this tank and move to the russian med line, but changed my mind after getting the autoloader gun. i had trouble fighting other lights, esp t-50-2s, but this changed drastically now.

I say autoloader as that gives better results against anything that's not a german heavy.

I use the stock gun for that slight penetration increase, and I have Binoculars, Camo net and vents aiming at a passive scout setup. It does work quite well.

Well first i tried the autoloader and after a couple battles of being unable to pen what I thought I should be able to pen, I switched to stock, and had some horrible games. Switched back to autoloader again with the knowledge that you can't expect to pen anything but rears and maybe sides. Now I seem to get good games. Well fact remains both guns suck, and I guess it's down to personal preference which one you prefer. In my opinion the 76mm should have pen equal to stock to be an actual upgrade.
