This info (which is good) has nothing to do with WOT. Like the info presented earlier: http://forum.worldof...nk-rounds/..... As i said then, in WOT you can fire nuclear missiles and still inflict 0 dmg (which is ****)!

Dear RDMC
Please refrain from using Profanities within in your future posts

Well ,I don't know how an ELC AMX can bounce off a BL-9 AP shell from an IS-3!225 mm of average pen against 14 mm of armor.I was shocked!
Or an AMX 13 F3 bounce another BL-9  AP shell...

Devs want us to believe that every tank in this game, from Tier I to Tier X, has spaced armor or the shells go trough the optics inside the tank without doing any damage and so on...

Ballistic: You shoot at the enemy tanks and if Uranus and Neptun are under the right angle in the right zodiac sign, you penetrate and do damage.

Yeah, and the most random thing in the game is the trajectory of shells.

how can a shell do dmg if the commander catches it with his eye :Smile_veryhappy:  or the gunner stops it with hes leg or something ....it is very realistic ...
on topic ... this is good info to know .. but still has nothing to do with ingame ballistics

And about the question in title "Ever wanted to know how the shells in World of Tanks work?"..yes we all really want to know how the shells in WOT work. Because it's a very strange and mysterious thing till now.

Before a while, I was playing in 7x7 tournament, tier VIII, with IS-3. For two battles, I did 5 shots without damage (no bounces, only clear shots), and I used gold ammo (which I never use in random games). The damage that I didn't had, is enough to kill almost two heavy tanks tier VIII.
