When War Thunder entered open beta, I tried it for a little bit, but Gaijin's business model put me off of it. A few weeks later, when the War Thunder discussion started up here on the forum, I decided I'd go back and give it another look, and now I'm a War Thunder convert too. If their tank game will be half as good as their plane game, I'm going to leave WoT in the rear-view mirror. It's already been days since I've even touched WoT (That's what you get with your money-grubbing premium ammo bullsh*t, WG. You're driving away loyal, hardcore WoT players!).

Aaanyway, I was wondering how many of you are playing War Thunder too?

I'm playing WT too,I tried WoWP beta but I didn't like it as much as WT,because of controls above all. Both arcade and realistic battles and a game economy like WoT,nice graphics and not many noobs.

yeah at the surface it looks nice but it uses a client side cummunication protocoll (that's why the aiming and shooting is "lag free" comparred to wot but just let the game be more populare and the client based cummunication protocoll will be abused by cheaters.

Those who are bad gonna cheat those who just don't want to grind long are gonna to cheat .....

i prefere a game which is cheat free like wot (except for wot)
i gonna try it's tank and warship parts but i don't want again such a game like call of duty
to be killed/defeated by skilles/backless cheaters ....

that's my part about it

I like war thunder but for some reason I get bored of it really quickly when I play it and I play with friends so I don't know why.

Although War Thunder does have some larger bonuses over WoT, for example the premium is much effective and you do not get screwed by the game if you lose a match because of bad team mates(this is a good and bad thing though to be fair)

Although I do not like how war thunder have very little variety, they repeat planes just different versions so much with little changes, seems pointless and makes leveling seem really grindy.

Like some others I am waiting for the Tanks, I kinda hope that the tanks are better than world of tanks in the hopes that it forces WG to be more competitive in its pricing and in game balance, but we will see.

Nothing gives you a kick up the arse like competition, makes you work harder and respect customers more.

I have not really played it much, and I hardly ever play WOT now. But, I am hoping the tanks in WT will be fun. That is when I will make my final choice.

I'm playing it and enjoying every moment. Not many players online during the day, but that's ok because not everyone know about WT yet. Oh and yes, most people on WT speak English. That's the main attraction.

I play WT since a few weeks, it's a really good game.
If you like to play WoT with planes check this game out cause it's really good.

I prefer tanks, so I'm really looking forward to their tank-game,
since if a compare WoWP and WT it looks very much like Neanderthal (WG) meeting Homo Sapiens.
Neanderthal may have it's good points and won't drop dead immediately but in the longer run ...

I've got it, but can't fly for toffee so looking forward to the tanbks and warships addition. Most of all I just want WG to have some competition so they start giving a crap about their customers.

when it comes to planes wargaming and their world of warplanes is millenia behind warthunder in terms of gameplay. Still many unknowns and concerns but one thing is certain, I am having way more fun in warthunder right now than in WoWp or even WoT even though I never was much of a flight sim fan

Taking into consideration the latest development route Gaijin is going with the last patch, I highly doubt that most of the WT-fanboys will be able to keep up their songs of praise much longer. Still I'm a WT convert as well, preferring it over WoWp which I was able to test as well. Just not tuning in to the call of the wild Wargaming haters. ;-)

/edit:

If I take a look at how the ground areas looks right now and then imagine to drive around there in a tank.... I could just revert back to WW2 Online. This goes out for all of you who really think Gaijin will combine their current (great) airplane gameplay with tank gameplay and maybe naval gameplay in the same maps.

Well i have just discovered WT and i gotta say WG have f***ed up BIG time!!!! I was in WoWP beta and i didnt like it limited tech trees the game just didnt grab me and yes i know it is only in beta but i just knew so i aint played it but WT wow first thing i like is that they have LOT's more planes including SPITFIRES where as WG seems to have a Bias in WoT, WoWP  & WoWS I mean c'mon they are releasing a naval battle game WITHOUT the Royal Navy same with WoWP no brits but frankly i think WT is gonna nail WG on the wargame front if they do tanks and ships as well as they have done planes i think i will say bye bye to WG.net
