Eagle Eye can be very useful as a 2nd or 3rd skill, knowing that the enemy object 704 has a dead gunner/loader or a broken gun/ammo rack can for example be very useful.

and ill add that you have to keep your eyes on the enemy for like 5-7 seconds, before it comes to effect, and you can see if your allies damaged modules too :)

but, as said, a 3-4th skill...

Tried it once for a few battles, retrained it away quite soon after. It's a waste of a skill slot imo. While the information about the enemy modules might be interesting and tactically useful it's simply too situational and the long time to get the info (you have to keep aiming at a tank for 2 or 3(?) seconds) ruins it entirely. The commander has a lot of better skills/perks like the most OP perk of all: sixth sense.

Edit: looked it up, it's 4 seconds

I use it on my KT, Type and Lowe. (All as 3rd perk)

Information is sometimes the best weapon. Knowing that an IS3 will take so long to reload with its damaged rack/dead loader, you could easily pop in two rounds before taking cover. On the Type you can rest assured that a tank with a damaged engine will have an impossible task trying not to get circled.

You get information about an enemy's mobility and their killing power. Extremely usefull.

I have it on couple tanks. I'm thinking about resetting skills and getting rid of it for one of those. Eagle eye provides information, sure that gives an edge, but nothing major. I definitely rate other commanders skills or perks above it, it's still fine as 5th, 6th or 7th skill. 6th sense is much more useful and same applies to repair, camo, BIA, jack-of-all trades and even recon.

... not to mention Mentor, which can provide quite some experience on a vehicle which one intends to keep around for long time. Eagle Eye is pretty much useless.

Kinda forgot about that... :Smile_Default:

Mentor doesn't have combat effect, but long term effect on development of crew is immense. 6th sense is almost mandatory, as is BIA and repair or camo depending on tank naturally. I take mentor on every tank with more crew than four as 3rd or 4th skill. It can be moved up with resetting skills, that way it will give about 7 or 8% bonus on xp.

I use it on my Super Pershing crew. Very usefull, as I always know that dead gunner or broken gun makes the guy impossible to shot my weakspots. And again, seing a guy with damaged engine gives you a bit of "courage" to attack him or circle. But the skill is very usefull for bush scouts in platoons witho other tanks. You can give information to your platoonmates about other tanks that u are spoting. It can be very helpful to designate targets for arty ( for example - tank with damaged engine or detracked )

As mentor doesn't give ANY advantage in battles and Eagle Eye does than i would prefer EE. And anyway, if you're on your 4th skill mentor doesn't really matter anymore anyway.

I have it on my E-75 as 2nd perk, repair being the first, no need for 6th sense for me or anything else. Even though, it's not that usefull in most cases, fighting multiple enemies in close range like in banana on Himmelsdorf knowing someone fighting with damaged engine/ammo can mean a difference between an aggressive push or peek a boo another 2-3 few minutes, which also may win your a game.

Strange. I find Eagle Eye pretty useful, most my Mediums have the perk.
Gun damaged, ammo rack hit, loader killed? Game's up for you, pal...

Going to have to try that Sixth Sense perk at some point, I think...
