XVM ingame Hit/Damage Counter Problem.

Hiyas All,

Is it just me or does anyone else suffer with the occasional Hit or kill not being counted/added to the ingame XVM Hit/Damage Counter ??

Because i have just finished an Arty match & the first 2 kills did not register on the counter, but the third/forth & fifth Hit Damage did register & so did my last 2 kills  :Smile-angry:

It driving me crazy, it did it a few times yesterday too, is this normal ?? or could there be something wrong with its coding structure below:

The targets you shot where spotted the moment you hit them?

Spotted or Not, The Kill or Damage should still have been added to the Counter

The damagecounter I use  (inluded in XVM) doesn't include damage dealt to unspotted targets...that's the only thing I can say.

If you damage/kill an enemy tank that is not spotted, you do not get the info on the damage caused because you don't know. so XVM can hardly add the damage to the counter if it didn't get the info in the first place now can it?

Ok, i understand that, but both of the unregistered kills where spotted, there was atleast 1 or 2 ally tanks withing about 20 meters of both kills, so i assumed they had been spotted.

If you hit the same target twice for let's say 250, it'll record the damage for both hits, but display a sum of both hits, e.g. first "1. Tank hit for 250" and next shot "2. Tank hit for 500".
At least that's how my XVM hit log works.

I can now confirm that if you damage or kill a tank that suddenly dissapears from the minimap &/or your sights just after you have fired a round, the game will give you the damage or the kill, but the XVM script wont register it, probably due to it not being spotted anymore :/

Well yeah, I thought you knew that. That's because it would be too easy to figure out where unspotted tanks are (shoot with arty at random bushes -- "hey, I damage someone, everyone shoot this bush").
