I'd just taken the Turbo and the Head off the Black Pig(My very OP Saab 95) and discovered I didn't have any degreasing fluid to clean the bits up, so i came up with what I thought was a stunning idea why not use the dishwasher to clean the parts after putting them in on a very hot cycle with about a half a bottle of washing liquid just to make sure I got rid of every trace of grease from the head, It came out shinier than a brand new penny, but imagine my surprise when I showed the Mrs my handy work she was less than chuffed with my efforts, after having the head removed from a part of my anatomy that shall remain nameless I'm now recovering well in hospital and should be able to go home soon. Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up(No pun intended!!!)

Get the saabs head skimmed as dishwashers have been known to warp ally heads

Already been dropped off at the machine shop to have it done as it needs skimming prior to me fitting the forged pistons :Smile_blinky:
