Hi, I thought  I might drop the question here cos this forum has a pretty huge community
So, anyone knows a propper pair of headphones? It doesnt have to be with a mic, I just need very good audio quality, deep bass and most important - comfort. Some time ago I bought Logitech Fatality gaming headset, it has great sound quality, nice bass and very good mic, but its uncomfortable as hell, it makes my ears hurt. Mostly because it has small ear cups, they dont lay around ears, but on them. A shame really, they were quite expensive :(
Thanks

I use these they are pretty good in all areas and they are very robust they just feel quality from the minute you try them on

EDIT

I will add you need 4 jack plug sockets and a spare USB connection to use them so if your on a laptop these may not be for you but most desktops will have all of the reqiured connections to run these cans

I'm using a pair of Sennheisers, and the sound quality is great! plus they're really comfortable, and outside sounds are almost entirely cancelled out. The only problem I have with them is that the cable is very thin and a little too short, but that's the failure of my low-end model. The model that my friend uses - divine!

The cable from the PC to the little box of tricks in the middle (equalizer) is 5mm thick so its qiute a solid cable and the one from the equalizer to the headphones themselves is about 3 mm so again qiute a nice gauge of cable and while the headphones themselves are qiute heavy 375 grams and feel and look very solid they dont feel heavy when worn and they are very comfortable even for folks with large ears (me)

PC World had these in it might be worth asking them to show you a set so you get some idea of the excellent biuld quality before you buy

BTW i also bought some Fatality headphones and couldnt use them they where just cheap uncomfortable crap so i gave them away to a nephew they where the reason i bought these roccats and that was 2 years ago never had a moments trouble or any regrets since

I heard Skullcandy is good at price/quality.

Tough if you want REAL headphones then you need to get some 5.1 ones what costs 120€ and more~ Used once those... There is no going back after that.

Ps.
Yeah Fatality sucks. Got them too.

I read there are weird problems with surround headphones, like when listening to stereo content only 2 out of 6 speakers are playing and that makes it sound horrible, I prefer good quality stereo headphones

I use the beyerdynamic dt770 pros. If you want quality stereo with epic bass, that will be the way to go.
And if you can afford it, a nice headphone amp will make these really shine.

There's nothing like getting a concussion from the bass every time you fire the BL-10  :Smile_trollface-3:

Hmm... Good quality surround headphones does work at stereo most of time too.
Maybe people haven't installed real drivers or Stereo converter to computer?
