I know this has been discussed before, but is it anyway possible to make the "Weekend specials" to start at friday morning, not saturday?
Last day of the special (monday) is just wasted, because people usually are working that day.
Beside, Monday is not part of the "weekend" timeline, friday is.....

There are no plans to change the days that the bonus events fall on any time soon. As we have said before Monday is our busiest day and having the events extend to that day means that more players can take advantage.  I know that can be frustrating but bear in mind no matter what days we use, it's always inconvenient for someone.

geussing here:

Six nation: tier 6 tank special
Heavy steel weekend: heavy tank special
Saint patricks day special: free alcohol for everyone? (one can only hope) but to be in style kamikazi medal should be the one that gets a bonus because drunk people will be driving into every tank they can possibly hit  :Smile_trollface-3:
Hidden and Dangerous: either TD's or we all get a free coppy of one of the best WW2 games ever made IMHO.

IMO:

Six nations: bonus for few tanks from each of the 6 nations in the game
Heavy steel weekend: bonus for heavy tanks (would be cool if it is for tier 7 - same we had for tier 7 meds)
Saint Pat's day: 5x first victory bonus, discount on consumables, British tank tree focus?
HAD: TD or arty focused special

Oh so close with some and so far away with others! Saint Patrick's day I think will be the biggest surprise for you all and I expect everyone to enjoy all the stuff we have planned.  :Smile_Default:

I see Saint Patrick's day special would be a day of free prem and perhaps some free gold goodies it will be an interesting month. :Smile_great:

Six Nations? But we don't have an Irish, Welsh, Scottish or Italian trees... So how are they going to score any tries?

For those that don't know what the Six Nations Championship is http://en.wikipedia....ns_Championship

Is there a realistic chance the arl v39 will be in one of the events? don't want to spend more credits on it than i have to :Smile_harp:  anyway, those specials look pretty interesting. Do we all get green tanks for St. Patricks Day? :Smile_veryhappy:

Was already in the discount last month (I bought it myself back than) However don't expect too much out of it like someone else already said.

Saint Patrick's colour is blue, not green, and this isn't just pedantry, the coat of arms is blue backed, the Irish guards are distinguished by a strip of blue in the bear-skin.. i mean.. maybe not many people care for tanks.. but it's worth noting..

Google St Patrick and you are greeted with a sea of green including these:

not saying you are wrong, but unless you are truly, deeply Irish then St Patrick's day is known for being predominantly a green affair (and I have known plenty of Irish who wear green on St P's day)

But the days used to be from Friday until Monday which I am sure suits most people who work monday - friday (which is the majority of people that work). As someon above has put why can it not be extended then to include the friday night?

We then have the issue that our events cover more days than the other regions. I understand your concerns guys but a lot of people go out and do stuff at the end of the week. They go our to bars, go round to friend's houses, go to the movies, go out for dinner etc etc.  Monday night most people stay in and chill out, looking to relax after their first day back at work. There is plenty of arguments for and against the days we select and as I said earlier no matter when we do the events they will inconvenient someone.

St Patrick's Day Special... It must have something to do with the Lucky Medal. The four-leafed clover is pretty much one of St Patrick's Day's symbols after all!

My problem is that I get home around Midnight on Friday and if I fancy playing tanks, any thanks I play lose any x3 or first win crew bonus and so on.   Now if you started Midnight Friday to 6am Tuesday I think it would be very popular.

And maybe an Irish band or two like Stiff Little Fingers, The Pogues etc.

P.S. I got married to the Dropkicks "The Gauntlet" :)

Hmmm... let's see what logic says....

Six nations special: obviously tier VI tanks, one from each tech tree

British: since Churchill VII was on special recently, obviously Cromwell

German: VK3601H, to avoid repeatinhg recent mistake with letters P and H in 3001 xD

Soviet: we've seen KV1S and T34-85 on specials, so T150 it is!

USA: Easy 8, of course ;)

Chinese: well, since type 58 was on discount, then 59-16

France: AMX12t, ARL44 is heavy so I think it leans towards Heavy steel special.

Heavy steel special:

- hmmm... I still remember the confusion with Tiger P and H, and a lot of people who invested in Tiger P then... and Tiger P is very heavy, and very popular... and Germans don't have any heavies before tier VII...could it be? I have a feeling WG will make a pleasant surprise for P drivers ;)

- American M6 is a great tank, but underestimated by a lot of players...

- For France, either BDR or ARL44

- Russians, either KV1 or KV1s

... now wait and see if it all comes true, if it does, WG staff buys me a barrel of ale! Right, Ectar? xD
