Why are only prem chinese tanks prizes, i want some german tanks :( it will ruin my stats if a play a nations that not german

Type59 premium is like the most wanted tank ingame, so that's that.

Don't worry. It's very unlikely that you would win (not that I would win either).
These two tanks are good prizes as they are not sold anymore.

Awesome contest. The rules that come with this one should be applied to every contest. Gives everyone an even chance to win

Think gameplay can survive 12 more type 59's and type 62's
But agree, good contest.... however I guess the numbers will be slightly lower since those most likely to make it to #1 already might have them and 'just' get the price in gold instead

I liked the contest from last time. Didn't play much Chinese tanks seeing I had other priorities. Will try to spend some time on these new British TD's and see if I can be in a top 200 spot. Have no high hopes but at least there is a reasonable chance.
Though I think there is a high chance of winning with a high tier TD (T8-T10) simply because the numbers are very slim than with a lower tier one. Maybe they need to look into that seeing you have a month to grind for a tier 10 TD .... which 99,9% of the community will never reach. Players with these vehicles will be on the list most likely seeing they are one of the few actually having the vehicle within a month almost being sure to get gold simply by owning it.

Our global arsenal is growing fast. 8.4 version has brought 10 new British tank destroyers and 3 light German tanks. In order to reward commanders who are not afraid of trying new experiences, i.e., new tanks, we have put together a contest which will surely arouse your curiosity towards the armoured newcomers.
In order to participate you simply need to battle with the new tanks. You don’t need to submit any screenshots or replays! Wargaming will be pulling the statistics directly from our European database to form a top 200 list based on highest experienced earned in a single battle. You have time from the moment the version 8.4 was deployed on March 6th until the 7th of April at 23:59 h CEST (21:59 GMT) to play your best game. That is a whole month time!
As there are 13 new tanks (bear in mind that we are not including the new premium Soviet SU-100Y, since it is a premium vehicle), this means there will be 13 top 200 groups, so a total of 2.600 winners.
PLEASE NOTE:
The battle results counted will not include bonuses (Premium Account, Double XP for the first victory of the day, experience multiplier bonuses, etc.)
Only the battles from random battles will count. Clan Wars and Tank Companies will not be included.
If you already have one of the tanks offered in the garage (Type 59 or Type 62) you will be compensated with its purchase price: 7,500 Gold for the Type 59 and 4,800 Gold for the Type 62

Do you need to disable "accelerated crew training" like it was needed during the chinese event?

can one player win gold for severel tanks?
for example if i'm in the top 200 for the alecto and the tortoise, do i get prizes for both?

No you may enable crew training, and they amended that contest rule soon after the Chinese comp announcement.
