That's Good Friday isn't it? I think I can make it. Beer and tanks, what a combination!

I have just been informed there is some money going behind the bar, so when it's gone it's gone  :Smile_Default:

Im from Bath just up the road, so me and my buddy will drive down, meet up and have a drink with you...Does the pub do bed and breakfast? (so we can sink a few pints together) and secondly are WG officialy attending bovingtons the next day (saturday30th) with a booth set up and WOT on show to the general public?

On Saturday we are at "Tiger Day" with the competition winners so the answer to your question is no,no booth/set up. As we were there on Saturday we just thought it would be great to meet a few more of you on the Friday night.

Thanks for posts pointing out the Tiger day at Bovington :)
I've just seen the tank museum is near Wool train station and Wool is 30 minutes on the train from Bournemouth.
Bournemouth is just under 2 hours by train from London and just under 2.5 hours from Brighton - not such a difficult location to visit on a bank holiday.
Should be a good bank holiday weekend.

The Goat and Tricycle is a superb  real ale and real food pub.  The Wadworth 6X is sublime.  I always get in a few scoops when attending the Advanced Squad Leader "Intensive Fire" event each October.   Unfortunately that is a once-a-year trip down from Lancashire.
