Hey guys.

I'm Icemodai, a 27 year old gamer who just recently started playing WoT. I have a global rating of 11 (atm) and I am learning fast.

One thing I've noticed since I started playing is that there ain't many WoT streams going on, and being one of those guys who delves fully into a something that I love I find that this is something needing mending.

I am a seasoned caster of other games such as SC2 (StarCraft 2) in my mothertounge, Icelandic, and I've reached a semi/pro status here in my country in FPS games such as CS (I'd like to say I'm a pretty bad ass BF3 player as well).

When do I play? Well I play most days, the times are kind of sporadic so you'll have to tune in to check me out and bookmark me. I play most of the time, with friends where I speak Icelandic but I respond in English.

I will do some streams in English so feel free to tune in and bombard me with questions, comments or just general chat, I am up for anything.

This is something that the WoT community needs, so I hope it will be entertaining for all of us.

The link to my stream is www.twitch.tv/icemodai and I am streaming RIGHT NOW :)

So tune in, comment, watch, love, learn and teach me a thing of two, since I am a newcomer.

Looking forward to seeing you guys out there on the battlefield.

Over and out,
Icemodai.

Clown skins? The hit skins, I am more than ready to uninstall them if it will make it more appealing, it was something recommended to me from my friends to help me learn the game.

As of yet I only play public games and I find it quite educational to be able to see how the game works but most of the time I rely on my common sense now. Viewports and crosshairs. So it is not of much help anyway.

But for new players it is a really nice addon I must admit. As I said I've only played for a month so it has helped me understand the game so much more by showing me how to hit most tanks. Of course it is common sense but when I was a newcomer it was a great help.

**EDIT** It's gone! And I am glad it's gone. Although I stand fast on the point that it can help players who don't know them game. Everything looks so much better though!

I love them sorts, people who cry about framerates even above the monitor's output frequency and beyond actual human detection.

It's just that I paid a lot of money for this rig and it is not up to par I find. It has been doing good things with other games while streaming. When I stream WoT it drops around 50fps, from 125 to about 60. But I am fiddling with the settings to find something that will work, a smooth game for me and a nice quality stream as well.

That's still beyond what humans can actually see. Most monitors can't even output more then 60fps so 50 in my books is still playable and I can't see anything seriously wrong with my stats. Hell, I spent atleast 60-70% of the game on my laptop I call a calculator which I was lucky if it was above 20fps. If I can get kills (with somewhat poor accuracy) and achievements at them rates, then you really shouldn't be moaning if 50fps is the lowest you get. I don't have issues even when mine slumps at 40fps with my latest rig. Certainly not in gameplay.

If you got gameplay problems then not to sound cruel but it's the meat behind the keyboard that is to blame (or internet connection), not the tool you're running it on.

It's not like fps drops, more like lag with the display. It is ok but if I watch the stream on my account it I can feel something, maybe it is just normal lag I am feeling?

Well no more complaining from me from here on out! :P

Any noticable difference when you turn on the vertical sync or tripple buffering, or both?

I have triple buffering enabled but if I enable vertical sync I find that the game becomes more choppy. I think it's the graphics cards, they're not up for the challenge although they give a nice frame rate. Also maybe I'm just spoiled and used to too good a frame rate :P

It is a downloaded one, something a friend passed along to me. I'll find out what it is and try and link it here tomorrow.

This is the reticule I have: http://www.curse.com...j1mb0s-reticles

Hope you'll enjoy it, it really is nice, sleek and comfortable to use. Much better than the stock one I find.
