It was decided to time consuming to develop a new Swedish Tank so trials were conducted in Sweden between the Leclerc, the M1A2 and the Leopard 2. In January 1944 the decision was made to purchase 120 Leopard 2 s (Swedish designation Strv 122)

They purchased 120 Leopard 2s in 1944?

It's not only a "tank" museum, it's name is the "vehicle museum of the swedish armed forces". And for the fail, it's not a ww2 museum, nor is WoT only a ww2 game (or how would you explain the post-war/cold war tanks?).

My friend, my passion is Military Vehicles (all types) I leave politics at the door and visit for the love of the vehicles, and this museum has some fascinating exhibits. The week after I did indeed visit the Parola Armour Museum in Finland which will have a report shortly.

Appears they didn't have the Swedish S (Stridsvagn 103) among those on display. Shame, as it was real innovative for a mid 50's design.

This being the C-type variant.
