Have you tried it since they patched it?  It's changed quite a bit.

I am going to try it out, but I gotta say, having a WW2 based war plane game without the UK is kinda like having a WW2 tank game without Germany, it is not right.

I am still gonna check it out though.

Well of course, but they SHOULD of been in at the start, I see no reason why they were not, if anything the starting nations should of been (UK, Germany, Japan and US)

Stands no chance against War Thunder. Sorry, fan boys, no intention to troll and I still like World of Tanks. Calm down.

Your opinion is rather invalid because you are not specifying why, have you actually tried WoWP?

EDIT: just searched your name on the website, you played 2 matches, your opinion seems to be based off of "I have already invested time into WT so I must defend it to the death" your post is highly contradictory.

Would I say that it stands no chance otherwise? Okay, you are right, we are in ThE InTErwEbZ, lol!
Of course I played WoWP. I also played War Thunder. And I am so eager to finally play World of Battleships, this can be so great. But let's face it, WoWP is a WoT in the air. The graphics that looked cool on tanks now seem somewhat like a comic strip, the handling even feels like WoT, just with the possibility of going up and down as well, instead of riding along the road. Its just really basic and doesn't feel good to play when it comes to its handling. Did I mention the crappy graphics? Seriously, I am not telling anyone what to like, its just my personal opinion. I am fine with World of Tanks and (hopefully) World of Battleships.

/Edit:

I played some more matches with a friend, not only watching him, but also playing there for myself. And I have played as much War Thunder as WoWP more or less. I don't have to defend anything. Its a game after all. Hell, why would I have to? -.- I just don't like WoWP. What's wrong with it?

Well there seemed to be a rather large control and graphics overhaul a few weeks back, supposed to be better than World of Tanks graphics, but if you are basing how good a game is from the graphics anyway then I really can not even have a serious conversation with you.

I think the WoT and WoWp player base is different. Its not like out of 100k WoT player 90k will like WoT. I guess less than 5k WoT player out of 100k will enjoy the WoWp.

We were promised them as the first tech  tree.
Then the Japanese tech tree was released.

When I saw a video on WT, with a pair of Hawker Harts, I melted a bit inside.

Your opinion is rather invalid because blahdiblahdiblah

About a month ago, last time i checked Wargaming still couldnt get the keyboard controls right on WoWP. I dont like the mouse controls and i dont have room for a joystick these days (and probably have to buy a new one). So i want to use keyboard controls, but it seems like this way of controlling your plane in WoWP is like WG's little bastard child: They are quircky and unuseable for aiming. In serious flight combat simulators you should simply use a joystick, but.. In arcade flyers this shouldnt be a problem, period. Ever. If WG cant even get that little thing right, then sorry im not interested at all.

Adding to that, last time i played WoWP i was put against planes 4/5 tiers higher because the MM simply didnt had the players online to make an even match. I remember the WoWP community being somewhat.. larger?

Legendary arcade fly games like Crimson skies had easy controls and anyone looking for some fun could join a (lan) game with an simple set of instructions. To be honest, I feel even EA's Battlefield series has better build flight controls than WoWP. Thats how arcade shooters should be: Simple and accessible.  And on that criteria, I tried War Thunder for a few games and I was doing pretty good with just one hand, playing with the mouse, holding my drink in the other hand. The controls are easy and actually work with a mouse. Now thats what I like to see.

But to be honest, those flight games arent that interesting. Like treborn says up there, I rather play tanks.  :Smile_glasses:
