Having read a lot of negative press about the T21, I thought id pop by and say that i for one, am thoroughly enjoying the tank.
Sure its not as quick or agile or have the firepower as others, but it does it job.

First few games on it and i got a 2050xp battle. Mastery badge, patrol bade, scout badge.

I seem to almost be on the top of the xp pile when the games ended. Sure, i can get caught out quick if im not paying attention, but im really enjoying it.

Currently sitting at 56% with 54 games. Stacked it out with camo net, optics and binos. With the T71 on the cards soon, im fairly happy with this line.

I only would suggest some "american" touch to it.
The ability to call in off-map artillery strikes, an air bombardment or some guys with bazookas riding the tank and dismounting....
Otherwise it has no real strongpoint. It is an Sherman with a bit more speed and less tank....

I'm not enjoying it. Need to read more and watch more vids of how to use it well.

i dont like this tank, it has no strong point compared to other t6 lights. My efficiency on t21 is somewhere 1700 so with m7 and i hated both tanks. definitely on a sell list.

+ just had an epic game with it 2600 exp 7 kills, scout, patrol... yet i dont like this tank. (oh, i said it already)

These two tanks - M7 and T21 - are there mainly to prevent too many people getting T71, I guess.
I haven't enjoyed them either.

Yep, the T21 was clean fun, just like the M7 (which was even more) - they require some different playstyle than "regular" tanks, but if you can adapt, you will find much joy. A lot say they are useless, but used with skill they are really useful elements of a battle. I also started grinding them for the T71, but boy was that a fun grind   :blinky:

Bullshit tank, just implemented to have a hard grind to the T71, just good agility, nothing else.

M7 - Somewhat like a light, sometimes you end up in a bush lighting up the enemy and refusing to fire, other times you can close and circle a slower enemy.  When doing that I whack on auto aim so I can concentrate on keeping the tank moving.

It's not a bad arty hunter if you can get a moment to break through.

The T21 I play as the Chaffee, Scout/TD depending on the occasion.

I loved T21 and still I'm reluctant to sell it and start again with T71. Definitely not a pure scout but more of a harasser. Heavies usually underestimate it when they see it circling to their rear untill it gets 3-4 pen shots in a row.
It can climb ANYWHERE... pretty funny sometimes. The only downside is of course it's relatively low survivability due to lack of support from teammates. Every low armor tank needs some support after all.
Except for few times u r usually unlucky to fall in T8-T10 battles as a ...scout which u r not. The M1A2 can't pen at high tiers so u have to close in and manoeuvre behind 'em.

I found a replay of a high tier game I had early on:

Nothing special but you definitely can help a bit in high tier matches with this tank.

I dont like MM on this tank. It is practically medium tank with matchmaking of scout. These days one t-34-2 followed me, and I simple was unable to run out of him. T 21 lack speed and maneuverability for scouting proposes. It is great in up to tier 7 games, where it can be  played as medium tank. But in tier 9 and 10 battles where it finished most of the times, it is not very helpful for team.

Sold it in the end to get the T71 which is also an amazing tank, but im thinking about getting it back.

As above, ran binos, optics, 100% crew and vents and its awesome. 107 battles with 57% win rate.

Yes its no amazingly agile or fast. I played it as a passive scout until most the enemy were spotted, then started shooting things.
You get the points for this tank by doing the dmg aswel. The 76mm gun is pretty lame, but shooting things in the side after spotting gets some nice xp.

Destroyed 74 tanks out of 107 games which isnt amazing, but not bad. And i survived 30% of the battles lol

I use my T21 with binocs, rammer and v.stab.

Currently at 62% wr after 353 games with nearly 1k average dmg, 1,2kills/battle and 601 average xp without premium.

I think the tank is pretty good and fun to play
