Greetings commanders,

Tomorrow is the Tiger Day in Bovinton's Tank Museum. Our common friend Richard, The_Challenger will be there to cover this great event.

If you do not know what I am talking about, I encourage you to watch this video:

2013 marks the 70th Anniversary of the capture of Tiger 131; the world's only operational survivor of this World War Two legend.
Due to popular demand, The Tank Museum is hosting another Tiger Day; the essential experience for fans of the legendary Tiger Tank.
Experience also the best display of historic moving armour in the world at The Tank Museum -- bringing the story of tanks, tank crew and soldiers to life...during Tankfest 2013.

Date of Events:
Tiger Days - 30th March 2013
Tankfest - 29th & 30th June 2013

Tiger one at Saumur is running now? I know that the Tiger II is running, and there are quite a few Tiger Ones around. But I did not think that their Tiger one was running. As I understand it, getting the correct engine is the problem. As far as I knew Bovington has only restored running Tiger one. I'd like to see link to Saumar Tiger running please.

Basically this link says the only running Tiger I is in Bovington and the only running Tiger II is in France.

Exact.
And a Tiger from France has been recently sent to Munster for restoration. They are going to restore it to running conditions and it will be exposed in the PanzerMuseum of Münter.

Hi Richard,
I would just like to thank you and the rest of your team for a wonderful meet at the Goat and Tricycle in Bournemouth.  It was great to be able to meet and exchange ideas from fellow Tankies.   I am looking forward to the next one.  All the best.

If you'd like to actually READ what is being said. Only operational TIGER, not Tiger 2.

The museum is still in Munster and now has his own Tiger^^
