Dear tank commanders,

due to the English community team attending an event, it is my duty to bring you these news.

As you know, a few weeks back we launched the EU’s inclusion into the Supertester program after a lot of feedback from the community wishing to become a part of it. As stated in the initial announcement,  we have hoped to establish a group of trusted and highly experienced players willing to partake in the tests and thus help with the development of World of Tanks.§

One of basic traits required was adhering to the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Unfortunately as we all have seen, a few participants of the Supertester program were not willing to follow this requirement and as a result, there were repeated leaks of information. When they first appeared, they were addressed on our Forums. We hoped that this reminder would serve to prevent further leaks and that we will be able to prove that our Supertester group deserves the trust.

Unfortunately the leaks of Supertest information continued through several posts, blogs and websites. As a result we regrettably have to terminate the European Supertest participation. We regret that the actions of a few had this impact on the program and especially that it affected those Supertesters who kept their word and followed through with their agreement; however, the amount of leaks showed that the program and the purpose it represented was not something that could be sustained.

We wish to stress that this is not a punishment for European server or to the Supertesters as a group. It is a security measure and the responsibility lays on those who violated the NDA, encouraged NDA leaks or helped to further spread the information. We wanted to thank those EU Supertesters who adhered to their agreement and seized the opportunity of being included in a trusting relationship with the World of Tanks developers by working hard to provide invaluable feedback towards the development of the game we all enjoy.

Best regards

The World of Tanks Team

Or you could have actually spent time to search for those individuals that broke the NDA and banned them, but what can you expect from Wargaming.net

They are banned, but punish all EU testers because of two people?

Anyway, been fun to test with you guys :)

Well why close the super test program then? WG, heard of a line? To punish an entire server because of a handful of people? That really goes past a freaking joke and you damn well know it!

In cases of proven NDA violation, the appropriate sanctions were applied.

Unfortunately, the number of continuing leaks made the European supertest program no longer sustainable.

Doesn't excuse it in my eyes

Allot of players are honest and then what a few people have done to keep with the rules then get it thrown in their face? IT'S A FREAKING JOKE AND YOU KNOW IT!

And when the leaks keep on comming are you going to shut the RU super tester program???

Noo i don't think so!!

WG your next step is to employ beta testers to play it on a LAN in your home base. So then there can be no leaks.

Your game is now huge. PAY proper testers to test it properly.   If you dont actually employ some one this is what happens, always has always will.  If you were really serious you could have super tester install with digital water marks both visable and invisable but noo.

EU super tester Program ! pah i was never convinced.  The cynic in me would say all it ever was was a SOP to the EU players and the first hickup boom its gone.

Of course you never know if its true till its officially denied

Dargnon i feel sorry for you haveing to announce this as all the dissapointment will have your name at the top

As far as i know leaks came 98% from russans not EU.
And i know that because they were in russan language all the time.
Everything that was in english in blogs were russan traslations.

The program was opened in Europe based on player wishes and we wanted to invite you to take part in testing what MIGHT come to the game. From the moment the leaks started occurring, which was immediately after the program started, actions were taken to identify and sanction the individuals not following the NDA.

After several more weeks, even after applying strict sanctions and informing all parties involved, the number of occurring leaks has proven to be too high to justify continuation of the European supertest.

I bet you £1'000'000 most of the leaks came from the Russian Super Test and then EU gets the blame

NOW WHERE'S MY £1'000'000?

Is this about that Leopard 1 that was leaked?

Well, we all knew this tank was coming so.... not the most mind blowing leak in the history of video games (Yes, ban me for clicking on a goddamn topic).

Anyways i don't understand all this secrecy. It's like it's C.I.A or something. :glasses:

Unforunalty i agree with this decision. WG banned responisble ones but "Unfortunately the leaks of Supertest information continued through several posts" so why wouldnt they close this program in EU? You ban a few people but the the info is already out and continuing to do so so whats teh point of supper test?

As part of EU I feel ashame for thoes people that cant keep theyr word or be trusted. Sad but if we can keep our keyboards silnet we will get what we deserve.

Anyhow, other regions will continue they programs right?
