After the Chinese fever and last month’s American tank, it is now time to focus on the European tech trees. Why should you research this German tier VII tank destroyer? Find the reasons in this article.

The proof of the pudding is how many jag panther I see in battles these days.  Not many!

maybe this is WG trying to give it a boost.

I've been on the british war museum and seen the real one!

Just too bad I gave up on the JgdPzIV in WoT a long time ago, without getting the JagdPanther. :(

Currently grinding it, so I like the special :P

however I'm still unsure which gun to use, I like both, the 88 and 105... ;)

It's a complicate question. You should try them out and use the one you like.
For me, the 105 works best.

"...and even Mammut (mammoth). The last of these had its name changed to Maus (mouse), in an attempt to show the world that the Germans also had a sense of humour."

hahahaaa.... the humour of the 40's...

"oh my god! these fascist bastards killed millions of innocent people!!!" - "yeeh well, at least they have a sense of humour!" :D

Edit: or should i better say: "another proof of their sense of humour?" :D

BUT very nice specials! thanks for them!!!

1x 105mm = 4x 88mm shell (Same price.
so 320 vs 960 damage per 1000 credits...

A LOT more money ...

The 88 also has slightly better penetration  accuracy, DPM, and weights 438 kg less. However the aimtime of the 105mm is significantly better. But having played 365 battles with my JgPanther, I have had plenty of time to tryout both cannons, and I definitely prefer the 88.

I have this TD and I like it.

I recommend playing it offensive for better results. I don't rely on being camouflaged, in fact I have not camo net on it, nor my crew trained in camo.
And nobody should ever rely on the armor of this tank, pretty much anything you get into match with will easily penetrate you.
