I obviously know it lets you know the enemy sees you. But I'm in an argument with some friends of mine on when it starts to work.

Is there a 1-2s delay to the skill or does it activate in EXACTLY the same second you get scouted?

I was pretty sure it was a 2 second delay from when you are spotted, not aimed at.

My clan mates told me the time from your enemy to spot you - the red light to pop up is 4 sec, so you can't know on instant, when your ass has been spotted.

from the wiki
Allows the Commander to know if the vehicle has been detected by the enemy. Three seconds after being detected by the enemy, an indicator appears on your UI. The indicator turns off after a few seconds whether you are still detected or not. There is no indicator to show whether or not you have become hidden again.

It usually warns you 3 sec after you've been spotted by someone ( that's what it's supposed to do ). Except for the few times when it fails and doesn't work at all.

To refresh Sixe Sense you had to be hidden again, if there exist another timer, such as "you had to be at least ten second hidden before Six Sense works again", i dont know, maybe, i am not sure

it used to have issues when you went unobserved for a few seconds then got respotted but that seems better now, or i got better at hiding :blinky:

I think most problems come when people get spotted and move back, but move forward again too soon so they never become unspotted. Or the spotter can actually see them when they move back, a dedicated scouts do this nicely.
Then they think they are undetected while they are light up all the time.

Also, patient player some times keep aiming the last location enemy was spotted. If one moves back into the same bush, and is spotted again, one might get shot before the light turns up again, as the enemy has 3 seconds to fine tune the aim.

3 seconds seems awfully long time, I would say more around 1-2 seconds after you shoot and lose cover bonus. But that's just a my own hunch.

One other thing comes to my mind, could there be a difference between shooting and unmasking yourself and driving into view of an enemy tank due to server processing or something like that? Because 4 seconds (mentioned clan testing) activation time sounds way to long, you would get shot multiple times in those 4 seconds making in virtually useless...

The 3 sec. delay is fine.
I don't think any tank will be able to get a aimed shot of, in 3 sec.
Unless he's aming at the spot where you get spottet.

Bad. That is how it works.
It bugs in multiply situations. Sometimes does not do at all. Sure small percentage of games and it it one of the most useful perks but then again imagine if it would work good. That would be cool.

I have never experienced 6th sense not working exactly as described in the Wiki. Obviously it doesn't work if you die within those 3 seconds before it activates, or if your commander is dead.

And why does it work for me in 99,9% of cases?

They even know it and have said they will fix it. It bugs in situations when you are scouted then disappear and scouted again. It stops a random number on random places on the maps with lot of bushes/places to hide. Also sometimes it just lags/bug's out. Like On bigger maps when you/if you got caught  play/playing artie. If You have shell fly timer you know that on some locations shell needs long to hit. You see their scout incoming and move but you get killed before Six'th fires. This sort of things happen, not that often but if you take notice you might see it as well.
Sure hunting/countering arty can know where to expect you (doing it myself to) and server lag can influence this but If you have relocated an never shot from new location some one can guess it or do a fluke shot but normally only way to kill you is to get scouted.
So if you see on map a scout closing in and not get scouted (according to 6th) and you get pwned it is strange. When this happens on Campingowka it is annoying. You hunt arty and know where they are or even they get scouted and still flight time of a shell makes you miss. So getting pwned without even 6th firing is kinda irritant.
Well I am glad that I do not play arty that much.

99,9% of cases? That would be nice... i would say it's about 95% reliable. Still good of course, but when it messes up, it usually happens at the worst possible times.

6th sense have 20 or so seconds of "recharge". If you try to light up bulb too often it overheats and needs to cool down, thats the case of its failure.

Otherwise it works just perfectly fine.
