We've all seen those players... those ones who think its a good idea to drive their Tiger II in reverse across the open field of Malinovka.  Those players who shoot someone behind a rock for 5 minutes which they will never ever hit.  Those players who driving a Hummel/SU-8 still haven't discovered the shift button and drive forward like they are the worlds last hope.

The question is... how do you cure these players?

For me the answer is simple.  You make everyone do a basic test before they can create a World of Tanks account!

Like this:

1. What colour is a red apple?
A. Green   B. Purple   C. Blue   D. Red    E. White

2. How many sides does a square have?
A. 1    B. 4 C. 20 D. 53 E. 1028

3. Bob has 10 oranges and gives 1 away, how many does he have?
A. 1    B. 5 C. 9   D. 10 E. 11

4. Which animal goes meow?
A. Dog   B. Cat   C. Goose   D. Lion    E. Flea

5. How long will it take you to walk 5 miles if you move at a speed of 1 mile per hour?
A. 5 Seconds   B.  5 Minutes   C. 5 Hours   D. 5 Days   E. 5 Months

Just a sample of the questions I think should weed out the slightly 'confused' members of our community!

As you can probably tell, this is a silly thread to come up with 'creative' ways to remove these frustrating players! This is for a laugh, so please do not take this too seriously, hence why I put this in the Off-Topic section.

So... what is your Cure for Stupidity on WoT?  :glasses:

Do that then a play test where you choose a tier 5-10 tank and the computer simulates a match where you have to kill the enemy player (who is like a T-34-85 but one that actually plays)

A good idea would be similar to the games Race Driver Grid, or F1 2013.
In F1 2013, you have to first master cornering, braking etc... in little tests before you can even play the game. With Grid, each time you try a new type of vehicle/racing for the first time, it gives you an intro video on how they should be handled and what the objective is.

When a person buys a Hetzer for example? They should have to complete a tutorial level and show a firm understanding of it's uses and limitations before they can advance to an open battlefield.

Great topic  :honoring:

Darn.. can someone that knows how to read and write make a WOT account for me?  :playing:

In all honesty, it`s not a problem of IQ, since they did find the power switch to their PC and installed the game. It`s a lack of common sense... and that, my friend, we can`t cure with "How many fingers do you see?".

You might lose out on some of the NA player base with this :p
Just change the questions to contain bible-verses, gun law and reasons against same-sex marrige, and it should work just fine.

-Put a 10 question english test to avoid Siema overdose. Because: No English = No communication = No strategy = No win.
-5 Tutorials:
--Lights: M5A1 Stuart: Basic scouting: active, passive, flanking.
--Medium: M4 or T-34-85: Flanking, shot and hide, passive scout duty, support.
--Heavies KV-1 or M6: Look for weak spots, and angle your armor.
--TDs StuG III or Jackson: Hide, aim, hit.
--Arty Lorr. 39L AM or SU-5: Let that aim circle get as tiny as possible!

Video tutorials would be useless because most of the new players wouldn't watch them and rush to battle.
Addictive tutorials would be helpful, but first of all, bring us the Japs!   :izmena:
