I maxxed the camo the best I could on this little beast.

One of my best games so far:

Explanation

Note: It was before the dumb new map rotation, I didn't played it since. So the replay doesn't work anymore and the fun is gone. :(

Just got this and as a passive scout its fine. problem is I end up at Himmelsdorf in too many games. In that instance I'm finding it hard work.

It was a favorite of mine way back but certainly the map rotation chances haven't helped at all.

Indeed. I'm having a bit of a hard time with it to be honest. Play style is manic at lower tiers and it often gets bullied by other tanks. Finding good passive spotting places is now difficult when you have PZ 1c's, and  BT7's basically covering the whole map in seconds. It certainly struggles to carry a game at that level.

a favourite of mine when friends want to play tier 3s, it has extremely good cammo and is fast and tiny so it can side hug and circle tier 5 heavies to death.

only issue is ammo capacity so i run it with half AP and half APCR, prem shells are cheap so i can spam them if neccesary and still make a profit if i dont miss/bounce too manny.

I am one very happy customer , had nothing but good games using this fast , agile scout -

I carry a good supply of APCR , but often find I don't need it too often if I can get to the side or rear of an enemy tank , I also

find that I can circle an enemy Pz 1C and still knock it out , using the wide turning circle to my advantage -

you must make your shells count though , as the ammo capacity is not huge

trick if you get a open map ( like Serene Coast ) is race to a good bush , and let your camo net and binocs do the hard work

I have the new crew to the 2nd Crew Skill , and its been an excellent crew trainer , I rate this tank as highly as the Chinese M5A1 or the Type 64 as a scout -

don't go frontline in a city map , use your view range and pick off the enemy with aimed , good shots , and you can prosper

Got the M22 Locust for my birthday, lucky me. Took a few tries to get Ace Tanker, have had very enjoyable games with it. Play it a bit less now that I'm working on a couple of light lines. It's not only a good scout, harassing and baiting works great too. It even manages to land hits while full on the move. That was a pleasant surprise (for me, not the Chi-ha I aimed at.) Should play it more often, though.

The only thing it misses is that aeroplane, a parachute and an option to choose your own spawn spot. Glad to see other people enjoy it too.

That's ironic. I got it for free once. didn't like it and sold it. When I later got it back when I got the hang of it, first battle I played like a bot and got Ace Tanker.

Btw, can you tell me what anime that is?

I only have 5 APCR shells for emergrency with me, I try to get the job done with with normal ammo. I think if you need the APCR with this tank, you´re probably attacking the wrong tank any will die anyway soon.

I have full APCR and never got negative balance battes whie still making profit. If you think 56mm can cut it in a Tier V match, I don't know what to say. It's waste of credits with stock ammo and even APCR sucks sometimes.

Needs a buff imho. I played a few tier 3 rounds in the last days and the Locust is clearly worse than the other 3 tier 3 premium light tanks I have. T 15, T-127 and the LTP tank imho all outperform the Locust. Compared to those other 3 the Locust has:

- Terrible turning speed

- Low ammo count

- No armor

With the Locust all it takes is a Pz 1c coming around the corner and it's game over while the T-127 can basically ignore those and similar tanks as long as you turn your front in their direction and both LTP and T 15 bounce at least half their shots. It also has the lowest ammo count out of all those and in longer games you can easily run out of ammo.
