Ok, i had wot on my pc on monday 1st and went on a holiday. Came back and updated something or other. It said critical error stuff so i uninstalled and re-installed the game. After several hrs off hard work, I finally got the thing rolling again. So i then installed the Test Server 8.5. Worked, but said server busy. Got fed up of it so I uninstalled. Then I tried to play wot. Something occured, i think it was a friction of test and 8.4. Anyway, had to uninstall.

Now i try and re-install and it says "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program." (no quotation marks)

I've got firewall off (i think hehe) and obtained a million more copies...but it still dont work.
This is from windows 8 PC Sony Vaio. No other compatible computers in the house.
Tried torrent versions and it still didn't work.

All help appreciated!
Thanks guys

EDIT#0.02: The public test will no longer install

Hi mate

When you uninstalled did you:

1. use the uninstall from wg (of course you did) - if you have patched wot then this may not remove everything in my experience, so...
2. Remove the folder and contents from your c drive (or whatever drive wot was installed on)
3. Remove the wargaming folder from your 'appdata / roaming' folder located in your user name folder (must display hidden folders to see this one)

A registry repair and even registry defrag helps before reinstall as some entries may remain even after the above (personal experience on this one)

that should sort it for you

Uh...
Now then, i was playing yesterday, and got up this morning. Tried to play and now it says:

Critical Error
(5) "Access is denied."
The application cannot continue.
For more details, please see log file.

What the hell does that mean?

Well, see log files and post text when error occurred.

Two reasons why i shouldnt do that:
1. I'm a noob at tech stuff so i dont even no what a log file is.
2. Lol, i fixed it. I right clicked the icon and ran as administrator.

Still, thx for ur support mate!
